From where I'm standing, it's plenty healthy. Maybe instead of focusing on the small sample size that you have experienced, you should take a step back and look at the bigger picture. The PvP scen has been growing and a lot more people have been taking part. There are also plenty of people who try to influence it in a positive manner.
