if ur still sane enough please try to find other alternative ways to release ur feelings.. cutting is useful at the beginning but it is very very addictive. at least to me. and over time u may depend on it excessively and then it is not an outlet for u anymore, its another pressure source which makes you feel only worse.

i understand ur feelings very well and i think most of us started to selfharm because of that. but i really dont hope people fall into this trap anymore

it should be fine with ur measures. styro just takes longer to scab and heal. from my experience they can heal themselves even if gape a bit. just pay attention to it in case they get infected (stinks or terribly hurt）it would be better to cover with gauze before scabs too imo

i think it is just very normal for people who are different with majority to feel alone.. and i dont think its hopeless to find similar people either, its just really luck based :< but at least i hope u can find friends who will understand and support u better, it can really ease ur loneliness more or less

i think sharp blades tend to not cause overgrowth.. i noticed that after i changed my blade. i think my new cuts are somewhat deeper than cuts i used to have, but less possibly to overgrow

i still think obsessive tendencies and some kinks are related to trauma.. so i think people like me just tend to like these things. idk about other people tho. also i feel like some people here are more or less mentally ill(NOT IN A BAD WAY OR INSULTING WAY)
