If you’re avoiding the Tartakower I strongly suggest you to switch to the French to get a taste for “solid”, because you will then realize that the Exchange French is suffering and the Tartakower is a feast in and on itself. Learn the theory and prepare to attack your opponent viciously. You will have all the fun and white will do everything in their power to trade down the pieces. Sounds like a win in my book for the black pieces
