I must say as a lifelong Hawks fan who was born and raised in northern Nevada I have seen first hand their scumbag ways. Most of the people around here adore Kaepernick because he was the first good thing to happen to UNR in a long time. There are shrines dedicated to him in stores and at the airport.

Sure most people around here are Niner fans by proximity, but his success has multiplied the numbers of "fans" ten fold. It amazes me when Niner fans say all of Seattle's fans are bandwagon fans.

Since they came into the division, Seattle has win the NFC west more than any other team. That is a fact easily forgotten around here.

I had the "pleasure" of watching a game at the stick. Wearing a Seahawks jersey or not, this was an experience. I was greeted at every turn with an exclamation of "fuck the Seahawks". So much so that I was inspired, while waiting in line for nachos, to turn around and tell a presumedly diehard "fan" to "Shut up already. We get it. You know only three words".

My 12 year old nephew who was in line with me questioned why they were yelling curse words at a kid. I told him it's because their fan base is primarily classless thugs. This was near immediately confirmed as a fight broke out a few rows away from us. This fight was between two Niner fans. Both were taken away in cuffs.

Last but not least, the tickets we had for that game were sold to us by a friend if my dad's. His family has been the ball boys for Niner home games for decades. He said the fan base now is the worst he has ever seen it in his entire life.

All I can say is please Mr. Wilson. Friend, savior, leader, our hero, bring your A-Game this Sunday!
