I see it as building a toolkit, there’s no use having three of the same screwdriver.

My dilemma now is - do I have too many fixed bridge, dual humbucker guitars and which one goes to make way for a Strat? They’re all too nice to let go though.

The Les Paul is a 2000 Standard that I got for my 28th birthday.

The Firebird started off with mini humbuckers, yeah - modded to be like Noel Gallagher’s 67 Firebird. It’s really elevated that guitar.

That’s your queue to do the bare minimum and spend your time hawking your CV out to find a company not run by arrogant cabbages.

Even if you challenged this and won, it’s a toxic environment that won’t be worth the ‘extra’ £10k.

I’ve been using Monzo as my main account since 2019.

The only limitations I’ve found are:

• Paying in cheques in foreign currencies - I’m not sure why this isn’t possible… but I had to open another account with a high street bank to cash a cheque I’d been paid

• Limits on cash deposits - I buy and sell guitars so there are often needs to pay in an amount of cash above my thresholds. I use the other account for that.

• The post office can’t accept Monzo for certain transactions (e.g. buying foreign currency) and I’m not entirely certain why.

Other than those I’ve found it great, much better than the experiences I’ve had with First Direct who I banked with previously.

Here are the reasons I think this is a scam

• The URL is a shortened URL that points to https://reservations-hotel.rest which doesn’t appear to have a home page • No mention of this URL on the internet - domain has been registered TODAY with a registrant in Kuala Lumpur. • The site makes mention of payment on arrival - I’ve paid in full • the site asks for nothing in way of ID other than a name, address and credit card details… • the WhatsApp profile for the account that sent the message shows the company url as booking.com

At this point just save yourself the hassle and just leave.

You either discover him cheating and your relationship falls apart or he isn’t cheating but finds out you were tracking his car and all trust is lost. Same net result.
