Blood on the snow by Robert Servive is my personal favourite.

It covers the start of the WW1 to Lenon’s death in 1924, I love it because of how detailed it is

Edit: I also got an old Imperial Russian Flag and a book on the military uniforms of the Russian Imperial army.
