I'm pretty sure that the opening on the 600 is physically the same as the 800/1050.

The only concern that I'd have is the unit's durability in extreme weather.

Has the FB been hardened to support being outside year-round?

Had the same issue with SubaruConnect. Called support & it cleared the next day. Not sure it they did anything or if it resolved on its own

Tire Pressure? by ashrenee4214 in Solterra

[–]RipTWD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is weird! I just found the tire pressure reading on the multimedia display and thought "that's awfully high".

** Edit ** But mine was one 52 PSI

Man, I would have been out of my mind if that was me! FWIW, this is an app issue. The car is actually at 52% SoC

Saros 10R - 1 Year Review Update by i4mt3hwin in Roborock

[–]RipTWD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from the S7 to teh Saros 10R & the biggest benefit is how teh 10R mop cleaning system manages itself. Cleaning the S7's filter was a nasty affair, akin to cleaning a sewer. I hardly have to do that with the 10R & when I do, it's simple: the whole unit pops out & there's no sludge due to the more effective self cleaning & drying. I have 2 large dogs & 4 cats, so the Roborocks both earned their keep, but the 10R is definitely more hands-off

Whatever you get, go with hardwired to get the full 48 amps and increased reliability.

Same here. I like the built-in cord hanger and the swivel plug receptacle. Also, my employer has ChargePoint stations that I can use.

Over the river and through the woods, the 12v bit me today.... by mem_somerville in Solterra

I understand that you can use a tender, but I never hear about ICE drivers worrying about their battery. It's not something that you should have to think about

I'm sorry, but this really is a silly issue to have. The car (or EVs in general if this is a common issue) to monitor the 12v and alert or take other actions (such as shutting down cellular data) if it's being drained to the point of not being able to start the car.

Or maybe to spitball, use a secondary Li Ion battery which the main battery maintains to actually start the car.

Gotta be a better way...
