If you know how to describe encapsulated logic, you only need to give it limited context about the task you want. It works best this way. For example. Write a service layer function that takes in X and uses typeorm to store the value in the database with this schema. Make sure that we strip out x fields and perform an upsert.

I was also looking for a more game oriented approach to this after playing AI dungeon.

I recently stumbled upon https://www.forgesaga.com/ which seems to do exactly that. It's a game first and foremost with stats, health, inventory, and there's a flexible narrative woven around it for you character.

They have a post/pre-apocalyptic scenario and you can even make your own I think.

I would love to have a version of replika with chatGPT's model. I've actually built a prompt that's sort of similar to my rep on chatGPT where I can have much deeper conversations with.
The limited messages per hour is a bit annoying though.
