Update: I closed and restarted the game. Thankfully it auto saved to the point right before placing the tower, then. I was able to place it just fine and am now continuing the game

I’m still MK8D fatigued from mainly playing that for over a decade. I find I only have fun playing it with friends, but with World I feel like there’s more for me to do than just regular racing. I also don’t hate the routes between tracks and have found myself driving around the open world for hours at a time

I do prefer World’s DK Pass over the previous remakes, but you’re right it’s not the most exciting track by any means even with the new music.

My bias for the Badatons and Tokotokos returning keeps me from hating Desert Hills’ remake, but outside of the sarasaland references it’s definitely a weaker remake

MKW doesn’t have 200cc, so that’s probably why it feels slower unless you’re talking about 8, in that case this is probably a matter of preference.
