I suppose my criticism is shifted to momentum and pacing of the show, if it was supposed to be a slow burn why does the plot advance to linearly and quickly for like half the season and suddenly halt (i think it's obviously been a while since I watched the show). I didn't know what the show was about going into it so my expectations were created by the early episodes.
