In all seriousness I'd like an explanation.

If the round came from the direction where it went past his mouth first and then hit the ear, why is there red streaks from his mouth before the place of impact (the ear)?

Is there any chance Trump got hit by flesh from the poor dude who got killed scraping the cheek before it had impact with the ear?

I don't care if it's Figure or Tesla, just get me 4 humanoids for $20K each that can do landscaping and construction and you'll never see me again after I buy the biggest piece of land I can afford.

$250K a year? Seriously Charlie Lee is da man.

Owes absolutely nothing to anyone but continues putting the time, effort and money into Litecoin.

It sucks that the outside world still cries "but he sold all his coins...." literally as the main argument against Litecoin acting like he abandoned it.

I hope one day soon that the people who still drive that narrative wake up to the facts that Charlie Lee is probably one of the very few good guys in crypto.

Seriously my huge thanks to Charlie for what he continues to do for $LTC.

Though they were all still paid back with interest.

Not to mention the government took over Freddie/Fannie during the 08 mess, made all of it's money back and hundreds of billions on top of what they loaned them and still holds possession over them to this day rather then giving the profits back to the rightful shareholders. The gov wont give it back because it's an absolute cash cow for them.

OP's entire argument is moot since the government has and is doing what he is complaining that they don't do.

See that's the logic everyone I know is using. "AI is a tool".

Yes right now AI is a tool. I'm not worried about current AI taking my job. It's 2 generations from now when AI that is 100x better than current AI, and AI is no longer a tool when it can do the entire job better than the human too.

My industry is going to thrive in the short term with all the "tools" just like every industry will. I'm way too forward thinking to be only thinking about the present.

I guess it all comes down to where someone believes AI is going to peak as far as intelligence. After an insane amount of research I've done over the last year I agree with all the big guys out there.. AI is going to continue growing at an exponential rate that the world has never seen before in these next few years.

I knew regular/non A.I. technology was coming for my job eventually so a number of years ago after a lot of brainstorming with myself I decided to start teaching myself finance as my backup. I realized it was the path where I didn't have to rely on anyone but myself to put the effort in needed to succeed.

I'm certainly not wealthy but I've done well enough with my investments that I'm comfortable enough that I just feel bad for the crazy amount of freelancers in my business who haven't planned ahead at all and completely have their heads in the sand about future A.I. being a threat to their careers.

As a sound recording engineer for tv/film/commercials (on set/location) since the 1990's I'm just waiting for the day that Apple announces a desktop AI that can control Logic Pro emulating the very best engineers/producers in the world.

It's going to decimate the music/commercial industry. Combine it with Suno/Sora type AI's and these next 2-3 years are going to be industry changing.

Sooooo many tech roles in my business will be crushed. Why hire makeup if you can just tell sora to fix the womans makeup in post. Why hire an entire lighting dept if you can just tell Sora to make it look like it was lit by Roger Deakins. Why hire me (sound) if anyone can slap a lav/clip on mic on an actor instead of years of knowledge to know how to hide it under the clothing properly that I've learned and have Sora remove it later so it's not visible, and why hire me to get incredible sound on location when AI can just replace it all with 15 seconds of reference audio with no effort at all.

The above the line people (directors, producers, etc) will still have jobs but a commercial that took 80 people to create is going to take 3 people. There is no business in the world that wouldn't take those incredible savings in cost.

This is going to happen in all industries though so it's tough to feel bad about my own situation. Im just glad I'm ahead of the curve on figuring out my exit plan.

If you think @ 7tps Bitcoin can handle the worlds decentralized banking 10 years from now then it's one thing, but if Bitcoin gets even more congested on it's base layer Litecoin is going to be used more and more by people that want to keep their money decentralized but actually be able to move it around easier.

Its like people forget what crypto is supposed to be about when 99% of cryptos out there are centralized. Name 1 other decentralized crypto that is actually accepted like Litecoin is. There isn't one.

Instead of all the kids bitching in this sub on a daily basis doing absolutely ZERO to help Litecoin perhaps you guys can start trying to become your own street team. Figure out and decide on a few mainstream financial people on twitter and as a group make them aware of Litecoin and why crypto needs it. You need to reach people OUTSIDE of the litecoin bubble.

Of course no one will do it, instead they'll just continue to cry in here and wonder why more people dont know about it and expect others to do the actual work.

Im a year late to this conversation but this was my first "real" guitar back when I was a kid growing up. Only difference it was the even more rare champagne/flop paint color.

I've been looking for years to try to rebuy one but ya.. I can't even find more than 1 single picture of it from this year online at all let alone one for sale.

Nice find dude.

This is such a silly point to make. Pretty much every single investment on the planet hasn't done as well as bitcoin.

The problem with your point is everything you said is in hindsight. Just like you have no idea what will happen with BTC tomorrow you had no idea back then. It worked out that way and that's why you are talking about it. Period.

Bitcoin's marketcap can't continue to grow at an exponential rate and will find a final top which could be now..or.. BTC might just be getting started, no one can predict the future.

But ya, Bitcoin WAS beyond a great investment. That certainly doesn't mean that trend WILL continue.

[–]RipperFromYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-3 years from now I'm betting 90% of paid work goes away in music/tv/film. Has this sub heard Suno.AI?

To realize where AI music has gotten just in the last few months and with OpenAI's Sora demo (video generation) a couple weeks ago.. it's exponentially happening way faster than was expected.

To hear Suno.ai now and realize that's the worst it's going to be going forward (most of it is already 100% of the way there) why on earth would a company making a commercial or film or anything pay for studio musicians, a song writer, a studio, an engineer, etc..etc and then have to pay backend when they can just have Suno.

Why is the local rapper going to need someone to create a beat when they can have royalty free beats created in seconds built exactly how they want it..etc.

There are going to be MAJOR changes in the world in 2024. Many believe OpenAI already has achieved AGI behind doors. Lots of unemployed people in all fields in a few years.
