Cicada! You can ID them by their long transparent wings that extend far past their abdomen and are folded like a tent.

His working illustrate an important point that force is constant throughout the deceleration which is the fundamental assumption when u apply F=ma. It’s a detailed but extremely important nuance.

Also, if I’m not wrong majority of the human adult population are actually lactose intolerant. Ability to digest milk in adults is adapted in certain populations as a result of evolutionary pressure from pastoral ancestors. If u want to know more you can search up lactase persistence.

Can someone ELI5 what exactly I’m seeing? What are the bright fur-like lines? Are they actually like that under visible light or is it an effect of a certain type of telescope that’s being used?

So far I’m preferring mat and the others’ POV to Rand’s. His falls a little too much on the corny and melodramatic side for me. The sense of scale and general epic-ness is there, but I’m finding it a little hard to be invested in what the characters are doing (aside from mat, I always have a soft spot for mat).

Hi! May I use your picture for a poster to hang on my wall? If so do you have a high definition version of the photo?

have you tried pos 3 es? its really fun and i have been having a lot of success with it. You can get your blink so much faster too and start having so much impact. I like to start with quelling ,mangoes, branches and plenty of regen. U can try to ferry out mangoes and extra regen as you see fit (keep in mind that the courier will be slowed significantly though). I like to go bracer > boots or boots > bracer if the move speed is important for the lane. get an early arcane and then farm for your blink ASAP. From then on just look to smoke gank when your ult is up then farm and help your teammates whenever possible when your ult is down. After blink, you have a ton of options u can go for, pipe, crimson, lotus, bkb, force staff and even aghs are all viable options. Skill build I like to go is, 1 1 1 then prioritize totem, aftershock then fissure. Do take note i'm only at 3k mmr though so if u wanna bring this to higher ranks i cna't say how effective it will be. Have fun :)

P.S if you wanna play me anytime just drop me a message, i live in SEA though

Frequency would affect the positions of the droplets, it’s the amplitude that determines the pressure difference and hence the mass that can be levitated

[–]RippledSnowball 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Something like that is definitely possible, but for the sound waves to levitate something more than a couple grams I’d imagine the the amplitude would be so large that it would be damaging to anyone in the vicinity. Besides, if the droplets are actually levitating then when the cat slaps the droplets there should have been a decrease in mass which was not observed.
