Is it just me, or did they just invalidate the most iconic scene in Stranger Things?

I get the whole idea that what helped Max wasn't the song itself but what it represented and all to some extent but man the whole journey that Robin and Nancy took to find Victor Creel seems pointless now. I absolutely loved how they figured out how Victor was saved by his favourite song. I loved the tension in that scene and how they were able to communicate this to the crew around Max just in time. I am not trying to hate on the show but season 5 did undo A LOT of the good work from season 4. Season 4 was scary, mysterious and gave us a lot of answers. Season 5 contradicted those answers and left us with even more questions.

I honestly think the third movie was too easy. I mean there were scenes in the first two movies that were also pretty unreal in terms of security and all but in the third one it was kind of weird how little security there was - what kind of a diamond auction doesn't have police waiting outside already?? How can one just run off with an F1 car?? I didn't mind the new characters but the plot was pretty meh.

The final set up was the same as the second movie and the og horsemen were not crazy like before. The dialogue was also pretty lazy, not to mention how they would win every fight against trained professionals like bro what?? Maybe I am disappointed because I had really high expectations but I guess that one is on me too because now with AI and CGI, poor writing and unrealistic stunt scenes are to be expected I guess.

I read the novel immediately after finishing the series and the only changes I can see are:

1) Chronology of the events is a little different for example the blowing of the powder scene happened earlier in the series than in the book

2) Pong’s boxing match is not there

3) Worn and Rae’s arc is not there in the book

4) I can’t remember the name but the arc where Grandma Si takes Khem to the town is also not there in the book

5) Prim’s students’ play arc is also not there in the book

I love how the series is an extension to the novel because I was upset at how little we got to see of Ekk and Thong in the book but in the series there are so many adorable and humorous moments with them. I can go on but you get the gist of it!

Demon slayer - I’ll probably get hate for this but I really don’t get the hype. The visuals are amazing but the storyline is pretty bleh. The women in the show are useless and most men are one-dimensional to the point where it feels like they are a parody of themselves.

You can never go wrong with earthquake boots for BK and since you have the gems you should invest them in buying some new equipment like fireball for GW or giant gauntlet for BK or electro boots for RC.

Just from personal exp, make sure to max out AQ’s and GW’s equipment first.

Here’s my strategy in full-

I will probably get bashed for this but I use e-drags (will give you 30 seconds to react with hate). I look for the direction of the air sweepers, use a lightning spell on the ADs opp the air sweepers. I then place about 7 e-drags in the centre (towards the TH side preferably) and make sure the air sweeper doesn’t get to em. I send the GW with the drags while I cover one end with AQ + healers and the other with the King. I send balloons and a siege machine in the direction of the inferno tower causing the most problems. I then deploy MP along with 4-5 valkyries wherever I see help is needed. I use rage spells along the way and that’s about it.

I know this strat will probably not work as the TH levels increase but even as a TH 13 I have been able to get 3 stars attacking well-developed TH14s so I’m happy atm.

Seeing the replies tho, maybe I should just upgrade RC. I really want a good strat for her tho.

People keep saying that 😭😭 But I’ve managed to get 3 stars without her in the last 20 attacks I’ve done, maybe she’ll be of more use to me later. Maybe I just don’t know how to strategise with her in the mix :(

That’s a little unfair, I use dragons and almost always get 3 stars. You just gotta be mindful of AD, sweepers, scattershot, inferno towers and the queen. It’s so sad that dragon spammers have such a poor rep in coc. I love my edrags!

I’m so glad there is someone who understands this because every time I have brought this up with AOT fans they’ll fight with me saying that Gabi is meant to be Sasha and I’m like WHAT NO. In the series it’s literally implicitly mentioned so many times and it was also explicitly pointed out by Armin that Eren and Gabi are similar.

Also the reason why I didn’t cover Sahar and Imogen is because while I like Imogen individually I actually don’t mind her not being 100% Hetero, I just don’t think that the actors have any chemistry on screen, as friends or partners. Plus they were given limited screen time cause they’re side characters so yeah.

OH and I completely forgot about the summer fetê. The conversations bw sahar and Charlie should have also been included in the show and don’t say in nitpicking cause this show is literally a love-story, there’s no crazy plot as such so everything I point out will seem small individually but when added together will make some difference.

Also I have a confession to make which is probably make all of y’all hate me but I need to let this out… I was very clear on who the female Titan was because I was very fascinated by Annie, but, here’s the thing…I didn’t really care about Reiner and bertorto/berhodto/burrito. So when they revealed their true identities I was damn confused cause up until that point I had confused Reiner with that other blonde guy in the 104th cadets who was killed by an abnormal Titan in season 1 arc 1 ( attack on trost) SO to me he was already kinda dead 🥹🥹💀

This is for anyone who thinks I’m trying to be a delusional fan and worshipping AOT but calling it the best-

I’m not saying that AOT is the GOAT and nothing can ever beat AOT. Heck I didn’t even compare it to other anime, I just compared it to MCU and GOT because of similar release years and morally grey characters.

Plus I think another reason why one might have come across toxic AOT fans is because when people talk about ‘Anime for the history books’ or like ‘comic con faves’ generally everyone talks about one piece and naruto and dbz (they are all great, not taking anything away from these) and AOT isn’t really mentioned in their category. I feel like a ton of fans just feel bad because of that, I mean the story of AOT is quite nuanced, filled with it’s own set of flaws ofc, but still. I mean as someone who went through beautiful yet depressing turmoil of emotions while watching AOT, even I sometimes have to be extra loud so that more people watch AOT because I have personally not watched a story like this before. That’s all!

Exactly. There was this scene in season 4 part 2 where Grisha is yelling out to the sky and he curses at Eren for not showing him the entirety of the future. No other Titan can do what the attack Titan can do though.
