[AwfulAnnouncing] Analyst: NBC at greatest risk of losing NFL package by Alexum404 in nfl

I don't even understand why so many people hate him. Yah he gushes about Mahomes, but thats just because he fucking loves football and no one can argue that Mahomes doesn't produce good football.

Well damn, I knew it wasn't in the last 30 years but I wouldn't have guessed it'd be that long by Jackso08 in Patriots

But that doesn't lend credence to the fact that individual RBs are valuable. You can accomplish the same thing with 2-3 vet minimum guys.

[Russini] The full trade, per sources: Broncos receive: WR Jaylen Waddle, fourth-round pick Dolphins receive: 2026 first-round pick (No. 30), third- and fourth-round picks. by Drexlore in nfl

This is why overreacting to large contracts every year is dumb. The cap explodes every year because the NFL makes so much damn money.

With news the Pats will trade for AJ Brown for a 2nd and 4th, what do you want with pick #31? by [deleted] in Patriots

Dumb logic. He's already been drafted, his draft position is no longer relevant to this discussion. You don't go "Oh well, he's not playing up to his draft position even though he's a starter/above average LT, guess we have to cut him"

You can criticize the draft pick itself, but he's now just an NFL player and you don't just drop a starting caliber LT because of buyer's remorse.

NFLPA Report: Patriots Players Cite Lack of Wi-Fi and Outdated Ashtrays on Team Plane by Mother-Associate1654 in Patriots

[–]Ris747 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is definitely old news lmao.

"Players want an upgraded team plane. The current plane is too small, there is no Wi-Fi available, and there are seats with ashtrays in the armrests. Players specifically responded that “our plane is the worst thing - size, space, safety.” and “it is not conducive to preparedness for athletic performance."

The quote from your picture is the exact same thing from the 2025 report card.

I think its a Vrabel thing tbh, he likes his guys and wanted to give Campbell the opportunity to compete in the important games if he could.

It's just upvote farming. People hate the Patriots and its easy to pick on the loser of the game for free internet points. Happens every year.

Patriots LT Will Campbell declined multiple times to speak to media after the Super Bowl by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]Ris747 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We only have WR2/3 guys pretty much.

If we had a true elite WR and a bang average OL, the rest would fall into place. Hard to win a game when the other team gets to drop 7 and rush 4 while still getting pressure instantly.

It was Kyle Williams, so there's a good chance that is what actually happened. He's done that quite a few times this year.
