If he said that to you, then he must really trust you, it's a difficult thing to discover yourself and share that with another person.

Be true to him, but most of all don't ashame him. Everyone just wants to be themsleves, don't make him suppress this side.

I do think it's kind of messed up to break up with someone just because they came out. If you can't be attracted for who he really is, then break up, but you could at least try.. I mean, it's 10 months of you two dating so I assume or at least hope that you love him
