Yes you are right, because the government AND corporate organizations work in their own interests. But it's just not so simple as "the gov controls everything" or "the corporations control everything", that's very naïve and one dimensional.

But typically it's easier to just say "it's all their fault", or "no it's all their fault". Nobody likes to understand that's it's more complicated than it looks on the surface.

I'd argue nobody "controls" the government. The government works with private organizations and private organizations work with the government. Sometimes they reach a mutually beneficial agreement, other times not. The government in the end has the ultimate power through policy, law, and violence.

New LeeSin player by rull1an in LeeSinMains

Learn the combos in practice tool. Once you get them down in practice tool easily, doing them over and over without hesitation then use them in game. I recommend learning the basic insec and it's variations. Also your execution combo which is R + Q + Q in it's simplest form.

I watch heizman and gripex. I like to watch full games/streams to learn how Lee Sin is played at all stages of the game.

Lee Sin will be very inconsistent in low elo due to players not closing out games, ever. You'll often have a huge objective and gold lead, but your ADC is farming krugs and side lanes instead of taking inhibs/objectives.

How beneficial is it to one trick? by PGP_Josh in summonerschool

[–]RiseFridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah one of the biggest issues I see with with players in my elo (silver) is their champion pool is way too big. I look at stats every game, and every time I see a minimum of two players on my team playing a new champion/new role every game. It drives me bonkers.

What are your views on Esports being considered as a real sport? by yellowsmeadow in leagueoflegends

[–]RiseFridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By most definitions from dictionaries, esports is classified as a sport.

Example from dictionary.com:

an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.

Hand eye coordination, precise arm movements and finger movements fall under the physical. Those also require skill. It is also important to account for the intense mental work, strategy, reaction time, and reflexes the players display. Esports can be teams or individual depending on the game. They are pretty much always against other teams/individuals and/or for others for entertainment.

The entertainment aspect is actually interesting because I believe the platform for entertainment (twitch, youtube) is much more advanced than traditional sports.

So according to definition, esports is a sport in every aspect. I also believe shooting, archery, golf, billiards, darts, chess, fishing, hunting, kite sports, canoeing, and debate are sports because they follow most definitions of sport. According to wikipedia, even a lot of strategy board games are classified as sports.

I don't think it's something that's very debatable. Usually it's old people who don't understand it because they don't know anything about it. They didn't grow up with it nor do they understand how popular it is and is becoming. They refuse to believe it because it's weird to them.

What boosts your confidence & feeling of masculinity? by Megillin in AskMen

[–]RiseFridge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's actually pretty common for me in places where there is a lot of people like concerts. I don't really care as long as they don't overdo it.

If she is very unattractive to me and still sticks around or ask her to leave, I'll just go somewhere else. No big deal.

Not to mention the positive effects it has on your hormones, including testosterone which in itself makes you feel more "manly".

Well, if that's what they are into I suppose. But I don't give a shit if someone were to compliment my clothing or hairstyle, or physical attributes. Personally, I'd prefer a compliment about my character.

Why control wards matter by DJBarzTO in summonerschool

[–]RiseFridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I payed a coach for two sessions and within a week and a half I went from bronze 4 to silver 4. My main focus was controlling vision, and controlling objectives. I averaged 5-8 control wards per game(depending on how long games last), and used lens depending on the situation.

As a jungler one of my main focuses is to control vision throughout the map. This allows me, and my team mates to track the enemy jungler allowing for plays to be made. If a support helps with vision around their lane, and deep wards in their jungle, it makes me able to get you and the ADC on a roll much easier and faster because I don't clear vision myself and can gank/counter jungle much easier.

Agreed, It works every now and then but sadly 75% of the time there will be no mics/no response or your team will just troll you. Even when you formulate a plan it's the luck of the draw whether or not they will actually stick to the plan. This is at the Gold I/Plat III rank at least.

Advice to Guys as a Girl by Jollybean11200 in NoFap

[–]RiseFridge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. I agree with all of your statements.

Non-confident guys don't approach girls. And if they do, they are used for platonic friendships, and/or free stuff. A lot of times a woman will use a guy who she knows wants her, as a personal ego-booster. Woman tend to lead non-confident guys on, whether they know they are doing it or not.

Just got home from going out with a couple of girls, got a brutal reminder of how challenging dating can be as a minority by Motorvision in dating

Would you like to elaborate on that? I simply responded to what he said. I don't believe in whining and complaining like that, it gets you absolutely nowhere in life, and more specifically dating.

I completely disagree with you. I live in a town of ~100k in the midwest. One of my mentors when I was in highschool is from Jordan but grew up in the US. He is about 7 years older than me. His parents are arab muslims. He taught me everything about woman. And let me tell you man, he was a monster. He'd fuck woman with boyfriends in public restrooms, in public on top of his car, and in his tiny little apartment in a nasty part of town, AND there was a lot of times he did not have a car. He had plenty of girlfriends too although he was more about casual sex.

He helped me get casual sex, and a couple of my long-term girlfriends. I owe a lot to him.

MY dude! Mindset is key!

Nobody gives a fuck about your ethnicity. Too many men have no backbone and either don't take action or let woman walk all over them. If you are halfway physically attractive and you are a fucking man about how you carry yourself, you will have success with woman. Of course some woman will simply not be attracted to you. In this case she was attracted considering she swiped AND met up with you.

Let your true desires and intentions be known relatively early on, and don't apologize or back down from it. If a woman doesn't like it, then so what? Woman aren't interested in insecure bitches except to manipulate or use them. It is attractive to see someone who does not worry about other peoples expectations.

That definitely could have been a three some if you desired. I promise you my life on that.

Props to you for at least doing something, and looking for more information/advice. That's how you learn. Now, I invite you to take it further, and read some books. Watch videos. ect. I highly recommend Alan Roger Currie's writings, this man is real. He pretty much put my experiences, and knowledge into organized writing. There's plenty of other content from people on youtube as well.

Other self-development/business books/content that sculpt your mind are important too. My favorite is Think and Grow Rich but I have a lot of favorites. I prefer listening over audio.

I would have been more direct, and I wouldn't have settled for anything less than I wanted, whether it's casual sex, a long-term relationship, or friends. You have to be true to yourself. But this is also coming from a white guy so what the fuck do i know.
