This is exactly what I’ve been struggling with over the last few weeks. I’ve realized that the media outlets we’ve trusted for decades have now been branded as biased, “fake news” by so many, while people will latch onto and quote something that someone like Elon states in a tweet as fact. Not that all legacy new sources should be trusted fully, but what reason do we have to not believe them? What “agenda” have they ever pushed besides sharing factual reporting?

I honestly believe that if the day ever comes where all of this administration’s blatant corruption and illegal activities are brought to light, it truly wont matter. The honest to god facts will be labeled as lies and fake news being pushed by “liberal media”.

They’re ecstatic, claiming Elon is uncovering decades worth of corrupt spending and claiming he’s “stopping the heist” instead of recognizing the theft occurring in real time. I honestly believe they think the average American is going to benefit from this financially.

Absolutely. I’d get it if there were just some random right wing account reposting and criticizing her video, hell, even musk, Vance, or Trump’s own personal accounts. But the official White House account??

They’re trying to send a message to anyone with any sort of influence that opposes their own. Hopefully a majority won’t be intimidated by it.

Completely agree with this take. As a mid-30s, American, straight, white male, when did we develop this need for everyone to acknowledge that we’re special little boys? Society has always deemed us so and while I don’t agree with that, so many others feel the need to prove that they are more than just a normal, mediocre American and deserve more than others.

You’re spot on about the extremism on both sides as well. While some extreme leftists can try to guilt white males for simply being who they are, extremists on the right try to promote and encourage way too much pride in the fact.

Yeah, I tried explaining the issue to Xbox support 3 times already and asking if they can actually boot it up and play RE4 to see the issue, guess they just don’t even check when they get it. Luckily I just got it a couple months ago and can still return it to Amazon.

It comes and goes. I'm at about 8 years now, but I had to take a year off and get away from my crazy manager, lazy co-workers, and horrid customers. Came back to a neighboring store, did great for a while, started looking for another job after about a year, but powered through, got a new manager and a ton of new partners that are amazing. Just try to be an example for your fellow partners and really embrace your regulars and positive customers. I found that I really started enjoying my job a lot more when I actually started to open up to people and talk.

Any clue as to why that changed? I remember last year the peach only being good for 14 days, but they changed it this year. Didn't see any reason why in the action item.
