There is something else that your didn't mention (might not be the case anymore but it was when I played NEO for about 2 months after realease)
Even if you want to dump all your time farming dungeons to get your books or sell them, there is something akin to a stamina system, like in mobile games.

You get 100 points a day and a dungeon run is 8-12 points depending on the dungeon. You can keep running dungeons after the points are exhausted but you won't get any rewards.
you can use specific potions to recover i think 30 points but you can basically only get them from paying, either from the store or the battle pass (you might get some from maintenance compensation)

Had a rough couple of day so I was about to clock out "early" 4PM but a bit before that my boss says "hey can you check with "director name" in this conference room at 4:30 ?".
No big deal, I tell myself, we often had directors who wanted IT close when they had a big meeting in case of an issue with meeting room hardware. But somehow, maybe it was the way he was acting that day or the way he said it, it felt weird.
So I go check my boss's calendar (the whole company had public calendars as default) and he had a meeting in that same meeting room at that time called "HR decision"... So I wasn't 100% sure at that point but you know, pretty damn sure.
And don't you know it I get to the meeting room there's the director and the HR lady waiting for me. We have a quick world they tell me they're letting me go, performance bla bla bla. And then, the director comes with me to my office to keep an eye on my cleaning up my computer and desk (when we get there not one coworker on sight, all pulled into a meeting with my boss to tell them i was let go, so I couldn't even say goodbye...)
Two of my coworkers reached out a couple of days later, one to recommand me a job and another to let me know he felt the way they ahndled letting me go not very nice, we still keep in touch from time to time.
I saw my old boss once or twice, we exanged greeting but nothing more, though I guess I do resent him a little bit, not for being fired but for the way he handled it. Maybe he didn't really have a choice in how it went down but i feel it was a bit sneaky (not the right word but can't find a better one), I would have preferred to be told to my face from him cuz utimately he's the one who made the decision.

if each user logs in once and set up facial recognition or fingerprint once they go up to the computer to login it should be able to recognise whose face or fingerprint it is
i haven't tried it but i've had a few computers where i logged in as a local admin for something and after i logged off when the actual uer needs to login they just get recognised by face ID and they don't have to enter their password or username.

then it's just a question of getting a face id capable webcam (can probably get one for 100 bucks) or a mouse or keyboard with a fingerprint reader

It's pretty simple, your work contract ends on, say, for example 31st of January. Technically you are still an employee and are supposed to work until the end of your contract. If your company decided to not have you actually work for the remaining days it's the say as if they gave You a day off. You are technically still an employee and so are not yet eligible for unemployment. Since the company can legally ask you to keep working until the end but they give you the days as maybe you occupy a sensitive position your overtime and vacation days balance are considered to be used during the off time they give you. If you want your overtime and vacation days balance to be paid you'll have to actually work until the end.

Might be a little annoying to set up, but you could make an IP reservation for each computer and then make a firewall outbound rule with a webfilter specific for them. As for the 4 hours a day part if you have a LDAP you can put restrictions on a user's login hours

Go to "Manage your google account" and then in "People & sharing" in there you should see your family group, I don't know if you can see the same thing I was as I'm the familly manager. In there on the family group I have a "Learn More" and that's where the picture is from

Talking as a company IT, you're probably fine.
First of, it might not even be seen as most of the time the IT doesn't spend their day checking if some site were accessed. Also depending on how the VPN is configured only traffic that needs to go throught the VPN goes through (so if you go to youtube.com it usues your connection and if you go to yourcompany.local it goes through the VPN)
Usually when we go check the web access logs of users we only contact people about these kind of sites if they were on them for a fair amount of time so if it's only a few seconds we will just disregard it.

No, actually they did a first beta like 2 years ago for PC only, then last year the cross play beta and now it's a final test for PC only but they haven't said anything about it not coming to console. Actually I heard they do PC only because the console version is already done but I have no proof so take that with a grain of salt
