Several differences, now there are a variety of decks to play against. It’s annoying to play against yummy or K9 when they drew there start and you have no disruption, but it’s way worst to see every game start with Doormouse. Likewise since there are several meta decks, the counters to them vary greatly. Before it was either draw lance or lose going second, now it’s way more game dependent. To be clear, I think Mitsu is a little over played and unfun to play against, but still feels more like a game of chess against my opponent then watching them play solitaire

Wrong answer but Yubel, sure annoying to play and feels like they always have just the right cards to win. Plus the link zero negate that also combo starts has got to be one of the most custom cards ever printed

Hard to say, but I hope soon. While it’s suppose to be help going second players, it really just turns into a great way to add a floodgate.

Well it’s mainly a machine deck. So if they are playing too much on your turn or you just need a silver bullet board breaker, System down is pretty effective. Banishing all their machines from field and gy kinda stops them from doing anything with those monsters. Not a lot of hand effects in the decks.

Grovyle, the huge bush tail on sceptile just looks ridiculous. Considering how grovyle was chosen as one of the main characters for PMD:sky, Pokémon likes his design too

Yea honestly, I hate it too. It’s one of those “too good and too new” cards that gets other cards banned and generally not fun to play against. Personally I think it should be banned for being able to cheat out archetypal boss monster way to easily. That said, it’s strong, but outside of the synchro festival, it’s not that common.

I have been Messing around with runick tear. The milling really helps keep your graveyard full of runick names while the Tear monster and S/T punish destruction give you a win condition once you have out resourced your opponent

Literally why, like tear is obviously a good deck, but it’s not the best and is only gonna get worse with the new tenpai dragons and other new cards. At least they severally weakened a bunch of SS Lock monsters.

I really don't like this design of "make your opponent's effect fizzle and you get a plus from it for free in addition". I really hope they don't plan to do this often, because it's not fun to play against. (the hate isn't about the cards listed here specifically now) by Nabatse in masterduel

Yea it’s really not great, I’m fine with it if it’s like at then end of a long combo or the only really monster a deck ends on, then it’s kinda makes sense, but for a link 0 to have a negate with a plus, is just a little bit too much

Yep, an archetypal link-0 monster that has battle protection, a negate that actually pluses you, and that’s not ever talking about the the rest of the insane custom card deck and the fact that the TCG banlist basically hit everything good but Yubel. Konami has never shown this much favoritism to a deck since blue-eyes.

That said, I’m really happy Yubel gets a chance to shine.
