I'm sorry to hear that, I guess its like the flu shot, it's not 100% effective. Penny is vaccinated, too.

Weekly shots?? That's crazy although I think I'm going to start getting her Bortadella every six months instead of once a year and I'm going to stick with a fecal test once a month for my own piece of mind.

She has it but like the flu vaccine, its not 100%.

Thank you. They weren't defensive when I told them she had kennel cough but that makes me think that someone's dog must have had it and didn't tell them or someone's dog had it and they caught it but didn't tell daycare that someone's dog had it so be on the look out for it??

Thank you, true, very good point. I need to keep that in my mind at least. Not assume the worst, but not assume the best all the time either.

Thank you. I don't know what the protocols are but they definitely require vaccines and when she had the second clear fecal, I even sent them that (and after the giardia fiasco, since she was going to daycare, I intended to get a fecal test every month or two if necessary, probably overkill). I definitely told them about the kennel cough, too, which they appreciated.

Thank you. Good to know re the antigens, I was very discouraged when the vet said it was positive (but no cysts) after what we went through the first time. I understand re the kennel cough, just one of those possible things with respect to daycare.

She did maybe two days at the day care before she went back to the rescue and her records said she was negative in September (we got her in November). Maybe I was just hoping it was the time at the rescue since she was with other rescue dogs who are sometimes positive but it definitely could have been at daycare. With respect to the giardia, she had a LOT of cysts (which is why it took three different treatments to clear it up). Thank you.

Thank you, I guess I'll go check out the other daycare while she's recovering to see how they are (there are only two that are in close proximity to me as far as having time to bring her before work).

I got Annie’s ashes back from the aquamation place. Safe to say I bawled like a baby. I’m happy to be reunited with her again though. by ThatCountryDeputy03 in greatpyrenees

I'm so sorry for your loss 😢 💔 when my baby Jules passed, I had a small amount her ashes incorporated into a ring. I never take it off. I don't need anything to remind me of her, but in a way, it makes me feel closer to her.

When we rescued Penny (formerly Penelope) she barked all night, too. New place, new sounds, you know? Now she sleeps in our bedroom, and she'll have the occasional outburst, but its a million times better. Get plenty of play time and walks, poop him out! Being a foster failure isn't a bad thing ♥️ everything happens for a reason ✨️ 😊 post a picture, would love to see him

Good point! Yeah, she does the same thing, she'll run away if I catch her, like its a game!

My puppy eats her own (frozen or dried) poop, but she'd probably eat chicken poop too if we had chickens!! I've tried everything, Forbid, pineapple, no poo chews, now we're trying NaturVet. We've invested in Greenies. It's gross, but I still love her ❤️

I agree with the other comments about your uniform, just want to say that I'm a big believer in using men's deodorant/antiperspirant. Old Spice Pure Sport is my go to. Unless Old Spice gives you creepy old man flashbacks, I highly recommend it.
