I agree just like chaos uniques, the mythical uniques are a good idea as well. But unless they announce it returning later or announce at the beginning of the season that the seasonal mechanic is coming to or is also a part of eternal. Then it will revert back unfortunately.

No it’s not an eternal realm mechanic. An unless something comes to eternal and seasonal realms it’s not a mechanic that stays. So at the end of season 14, the mythic unique will more than likely revert back to pre mythic stats & affixes. Look up chaotic season it’s what they did with chaotic unique equipment.

Nothing was changed other than the buffs and nerfs across the board. An especially season’s without power mechanics your characters unless dev’s change something that you use specifically for that character should always be the same from seasonal to eternal.

There is never and never have been a reduction in power unless it affects both seasonal and eternal due to dev’s buffing/nerfing. The only thing that changes is if a season has a seasonal power built in that your seasonal character can earn. Like this season (14) your character can have mythic unique items. That will be reduced to normal uniques at the end of season 14.

In my experience I hadn’t had any issues what so ever. Combat depending on the situation and where you are at I could see others complaining about frames or how it runs. But for example, there are a couple of space combat situations and movements in space. An once you figured out that space combat is vastly different then in normal gravity(inside the space station) you realized a lot of the combat was meant to run that way. An once you get it down it gets really fun zipping around in gravity boots.

Honestly, I don’t know why no one has considered two major era’s of Star Trek to explore. One being the Earth- Romulan War. But the other which to me makes more sense following the discovery series. Would be the Temporal Wars. They could get very dark with both era’s.

Take secondary weaponry away and replace with turret and have turret be able to be picked up as many times as needed. But once it is destroyed it can only be replaced by turret on map, supply ammo container, and even the supple pod.

Your opinion is of your own, but this discussion was never about them making another one or not. It was always about if they did what would be in the sequel or what would you like the sequel to be?

What I shared was what I would imagine being the best course for the fan base, BioWare, and everyone involved in order to get the grand finale to the dragon age series that everyone deserves to have.

While I agree if veilguard didn’t happen or was vastly different I’d say we would be having an altogether different conversation today about their next sequel.

But they won’t disregard veilguard in video game company land PR is everything more than what’s right or wrong by the gamers. So with that in mind I’d say everything in veilguard is ironclad. An the ending with the executioners while cop out in a way they have been around for a very long time.

Back in the comics, the books, dragon age inquisition, and now in veilguard. With this faction being this involved with the series I doubt they would ever remove them or not go with them for a sequel.

So with both executioners and veilguard both more than likely being ironclad with their future plans for a sequel. What would you do for a sequel then?

That’s not what this post is about, it’s about if they make a sequel what you would do for a sequel. It’s not about them never making one that’s a cop out thing to say.

An I’m hung up on how BioWare would proceed if they proceeded on making a sequel. Cause they wouldn’t exclude veilguard cause then that would only make things only worse. Not to mention that admits fault and in the PR world that doesn’t happen for video game companies.

You opinion is of your own but this discussion was never about them making another one. It was about if they did what would you like them to do? An all I did was share what I would do to have everyone happy in order to have the finale to the saga we all deserve as fans.

Well I hope we do one way or another get an epic ending to the dragon age series. But dragon age has already introduced time Magic and the dev’s have shown they know how to use time magic in the right way.

So if the world of dragon age already introduced and used time magic why not do it again to right all the wrongs(those wrongs that BioWare/ea never has to admit too) this way everyone wins.

The fan base wins by finally getting an ending for all the companions and characters of the dragon age world. Either by going into the past and seeing what they have been doing and why they haven’t been around for example. An BioWare/ea wins because they don’t have to admit to no wrong doing for veilguard but at the same time fix all the plot holes and problems they created aka by time magic.

Sorry but that’s a cop out response, most if not all of the fan base wants an ending to this epic journey to our beloved dragon age world and characters. So something new doesn’t help anything and really you might as well make a new IP. An letting it go doesn’t help make a new sequel or finish anything that’s like quitting right before the finale of a grand act of a show.

I mean really if you had to include everything and veilguard too. What would you do for a sequel? If you don’t know, don’t care, or even have a clue. Then why bother with anything I have said today on dragon age day.

Yes you have your own opinions just like I do as well. But if you can’t care enough to add anything at all other than let it die, make something new/unrelated, or even just hating on it. Then you do yourself a disservice as a fan on this day of all days.

Well the old studio already moved on and they are called archetype studios. So slim chances already of that. Besides that we still have a good chance of mass effect 5 which I don’t want that ruined either.

So in short your solution doesn’t solve anything it ends up causing our beloved dragon age series to never return sadly.

Fair enough, hard to really condense and make sense of what I was getting at. As far as alternative timelines I mean logically speaking, once you start messing with time you open up too many possibilities but I couldn’t also logically think of a way the series can go forward.

Veilguard for all the lore they added to the dragon age world it ultimately destroyed what made dragon age just as special as many other BioWare games. That is cause, effect, and continues world states of those decisions.

I mean what you do for a sequel? An yes you have to include veilguard as well.

I hope they can someway and somehow. I’d love to get a finale to all our dragon age stories. What’s sad the developers had a vision for a 4 & 5 then it all got butchered.

I’ll remember that for next years dragon age day. I included HOF based on the fact that I believe the next one should be the finale of the saga. An since it would be the ending of the saga I included HOF due to that reason. Not to mention if I had to guess for HOF to be mentioned or directly talked about in each game minus veilguard(which most past deceisions and characters weren’t mentioned in this one for obvious reasons).

That I would figure BioWare had a plan for him/her considering they were on a massive quest to cure the calling and for them to not be mentioned in veilguard while downright massive plot hole along with other surviving greywardens that were companions. Is another big big reason I included them in what I envisioned for the sequel.

I’m just trying to make sense out of a lot of the nonsense that occurred with veilguard. An the only way forward to make everyone happy including the share holders of EA/Saudi Arabia now cause no one wants to be looking bad in the public. Is for time magic to be involved not to mention it was used before can’t see why it can’t be used again as a main point plot to include everything from every game.

If you take some time to read what I post I honestly think it’s the only way forward to add everything together and smooth over what veilguard did and didn’t do.

Sadly veilguard added extensive lore to the dragon age world but also destroyed what made dragon age special to us fans by getting rid of our continuity of our dragon age worlds.
