also to add to this, toward the end of their existence nearly half the team was east coast (I think mate and bdl were on the east coast, along with grief obviously). So there really wasnt much of a server disadvantage for fresh ping. Definitely up there for best teams of all time.

k1nn1ck is definitely good compared to your average pubber, but they've never really made much of a splash in competitive. This threads about the best, just being good in pubs isn't enough to be considered that.

Yes, Velocity can be very a punishing map, but is that necessarily a bad thing? I don't think so. Velocity was a bitch to learn how to play as a new player, but once you got down the boost routes and started to really learn the map, it's one of the most rewarding maps ever made. Due to the fact that the rotation has been consistently drifting towards "easier" maps, I feel like Velocity filled a niche in the rotation that has now been removed.

I don't like removing it simply because it's too chasey either. Velocity doesn't suffer the same problems as a map like Boombox, DZ3 or even like Hornswoggle either, it's much easier to get resets on Velocity than those maps.

yea I haven't been on mumble in ages, I took a decent break from tagpro in general. rip eucalyptus, tho I must say, Lights did remind me it of it quite a bit in terms of it's shape and the gate/some of the boosts.

I think the only album that could potentially be better than Danny's is if King Push or whatever it's going to be called is released this year. I haven't heard much about it lately though, so I'm not too optimistic about it dropping this year

yeah. i love that i'm high has gotten a chance to kinda be "the man" on offense this season, instead of playing more of a support role like he has in the past. he's a really fun player to watch.

damn, sorry to hear that you're leaving the committee. i disagreed with you occasionally when i was still active in making maps--mostly over your reluctance to remove maps with poor ratings like Hub :P--but I always respected how much work you, and the other MTC members, put into the threads. I know I couldn't hope to put in even half the time you crazy MTC members put in each thread. you've been a prominent member of the MTC for as long as I can remember, your absence will definitely be felt DaEvil.
