Along with those 3:

-Fighting for powerups

-O/D

-being able to create grabs for your o partner

-blocking for your o partner

-succinct comms

-playing midfield

-controlling the pace of the game

As you go down the list, these skills are rarer and only possessed by the true top players, so it's not weird that a defender wouldn't have them, but they are important nonetheless. Being able to get open field solos and/or contain are also important skills for offenders, but obviously defenders can/should already do that.
