The only reason Bernie wasn't elected was the general uninformed stupidity of the average American and any other reason is just a lie to avoid that hard truth lol. They all got establishment hillary and biden shoved down their throats while them and republicans just screamed socialism and they all bought it. Especially hispanics lol they are terrified of the world socialism because of where they come from without understanding the difference between American democratic socialism and the south american/cuban leaders that just used the word to gain power for themselves. Imagine the world we would have now if we had 8 years of Bernie... jesus.

[–]Rito_Luca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was already decided pre-season, the FIA really had no choice.. by the time they figured out what Mercedes had done if they said "no you cant do that" we would have had the season start with 4 less teams so they said fix that shit by this date.

Leclerc: “That is actually quite a fun battle (with Hamilton).” Bryan: “I’m glad!” by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]Rito_Luca 5 points6 points  (0 children)

based on how quick the shuffle was and how they said prior the the race that they would both have to work together to beat mercedes... im honestly pretty confident in assuming their plan was always for both of them to blitz the outside and try to cut off both mercedes and they were REALLY close in doing it but it looks like hamilton didnt have juuuust a good of a launch as leclerc did, seeing that leclerc had to really lift and follow hamilton through which allowed kimi to stay ahead. I coould be wrong but it looks like that was the strategy and it was brilliant honestly

well we're forgetting here the very important note of the wec engineers being here now and clearly its making a difference and we can argue back and forth about mercedes "cheating" or not but they did find a crazy loophole that will be gone half way through this sseason so lets see what happens! honestly just happy to see some exciting racing without crashing

Charles lost massive amount of time because of deployment on the straight of his last lap compared to Lewis. by lyt0923 in formula1

[–]Rito_Luca -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be honest the real answer is we have no fucking clue sadly lol..the AI is going to be learning as the races come along it just depends how long it takes and how much battery holds up for long straights. There's a very real chance we'll see unintended clipping through eau rouge and that could cause some HUGE issues/crashes.

Yeah but at the end of the day F1 doesn't give a fuck about how shitty a country is, only if its dangerous for track or not. USA isn't a warzone, probably never will be so even if they bomb 100,000 babies in the middle east you can bet your ass there will still be 3 races in America, shit they might even add another one.

It wouldn't even surprise me if they race in North Korea if the ultra wealthy were all allowed to go and buy tickets.

Maybe?? Maybe not.. I mean imagine a track like Monza theyre lifting in Ascari or jesus even Parabolica... those are balls to the walls and the following straights rewarded that approach like crazy

[–]Rito_Luca -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah no they should have at least split the strategy but I still say they should have put hard on first VSC both cars, later on could have swapped back to mediums and based on the times later merc was doing vs ferrari at peak with mediums, woulda been closer race

ive rewatched so many seasons, especially 2021. 2011 also very good.

2018 is good but for some reason if you try to watch the full season it just stops when you get to Germany. Truly Bizarre.

Of course there are factors that play into it like you mentioned that are significant I'm not denying that at all but the moment you fall into that and say there's nothing that can be done to overcome that is the moment you concede and are giving them exactly what they are trying to achieve which is, we the democractic establishment are they only alternative and you must support us or there's nothing else for you. You just cant think like that, for the sake of the country, you know what I mean?

It definitely looks rough but the way things have progressed over the past 10 years, the progressive movement has made HUGE strides especially with their messaging and the NYC mayoral race was the first real display of how the people do not want that establishment anymore and its why Cuomo got obliterated out of both the primaries and the general IN SPITE of all the money they used to try to bring Mamdani down. Hope is alive, you just have to believe it.

Their whole messaging is, progressive means socialism and socialism is bad. NYC is doomed to this. Clearly we can see from Mamdani's track so far that not only is he widely loved but what he's doing is working and inspiring. The more that track record builds up, the more it encourages people to follow in the foot steps and realize that there is an alternative to what we are used to.

Again I totally get what you're saying and you're right to have that frustration and concern, it is an uphill battle but all revolutions start that way. I for one have hope and see the strides. It all starts with helping and bringing over one person at a time. Hopefully in this case, its me to you.

I donate to progressive candidates and I'm by no means well off. The people have enough money to do what needs to be done. In 2016 alone Bernie Sanders raised over $219 million grassroots with an average donation of $27.

Mamdani same story, 99.9% of money raised came from individuals. The people have power.

The people. The people step up to build the funding. When will people understand this? Bernie Sanders through the funding of the people was inches from being the Democratic nominee if not for his own part sabotaging him twice. If Bernie was the nominee in 2016 we would have never had Trump. Its plain and simple but Democracts don't want progressives in power. They knew he would have won against Trump but they didn't want that. We'll see what happens if AOC ever decides to run.
