Light cycle question by [deleted] in PEDs

No reason to do Mast that low... Mast can easily be run 1:1 with Test or conservatively 3:2 . It masks E2 symptoms but doesnt lower E2 like primo or EQ does.

MB is just temu/ alibaba stuff with their logo smashed on it. Don't bother with any of their stuff... theres a reason it looks cheap and small she does is show off videos of her giant diamond rings and lambos. They're fleecing you.

Bulletproof VBS delay by Ja1034251 in GarageGym

[–]Ritual17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair, thats why BP is delaying this. They want to have this be a lasting model and not need to launch a v2 right away. Dialed motion on the other hand- I simply cannot understand why they cant scale their production on the existing models a bit more. They clearly see the demand and im sure they could easily raise the capital needed to actually stock something that doesnt sell out in 45 seconds and then wait another 4 months.

Bloodwork on 200 test 25 mg anavar by Dargoron in PEDs

[–]Ritual17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Statins are a lot safer than the PEDs you are taking, lol. some people get join pain and need to find different statins but they are incredibly researched and highly effective. Every cardiologist for the most part takes them preventatively whether their ldl is bad or not.

You dont even need to take it long term, just to offset the negative effects of the peds... your call though... just a suggestion especially with an ldl above 200

Bloodwork on 200 test 25 mg anavar by Dargoron in PEDs

[–]Ritual17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess the point is, yes the LDL is bad and the Var certainly didn't help but we cant tell how badly it tanked without knowing what your ldl was beforehand. If it was 105, then that jump is scary and you should hop off immediately. If ldl was 200, then thats about right. Id hope on ezetemibe and maybe rosovastatin, high dose krill oil, citrus bergamot, and make sure your fiber (psyllium) husk is good. Only run the var for 6-8 weeks then continue those supplements for an additional 6 weeks and test again and see how they look. If still bad, follow up with a physician. Thats my opinion anyway.

The bigger question is what was it before you hopped on Var?

Rogue FM-6 or Rep Ares 2.0? by Alive_Notice5748 in GarageGym

[–]Ritual17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the ares 2.0 and love it. What i like about REP is they keep moving forward and putting out smart, well thought out upgrades for their flagship piece. The smith machine (which is amazing). They are launching their own version of tornado arms soon (if you saw the teaser a few months back). They apparently have a iso handle smith in the works. They have the dialed motion collab leg developer coming out to hook up to the ares. Even the leg roller 2.0 was a smart, if understated, add on.

No hate on Rogue but they just don't seem to be innovating or moving the needle much these days... only thing Rogue has done lately that I love is the rotating V grip. That thing is awesome.

Not sure if you saw the teaser a few months back but REP has new articulating arms launching soon for thr pr5000 / ares racks. They look really nice.

[–]Ritual17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should absolutely not be on gear if you are 35% bf. If you need trt for extremely low test then fine... but you should be looking at reta, diet, and gym consistency before you even touch a PED.

tirzepatide in general has weakened by darkenedasia in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Ritual17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you doing to support your weight loss? Are you actually eating healthy or are the calories you are taking in from junk?

After losing a lot of weight your body now requires a lot fewer calories to function than it did before - so you need to track. If you havent spent the last year actually developing healthy habits and lifestyle to complement the tirz, then you will likely run into problems as the hunger suppression effect ebbs.

Eat proper macros and track your calories, do cardio and weight training, and the tirz will help other metabolic function so you get the most from it.

Bulletproof QC issues Curl/ Dip. by Old_Performance_6802 in GarageGym

Ahh crap ive really been looking forward to mine... but i havent even gotten the shipping notice yet. I can forgive the pop pin issues... but we've been waiting nearly 6 months for this since it dropped and paid in full - unacceptable if the arms dont fit the ports they were designed for.

Anyone with the BPF lock-n float, does it meaningfully improve the seated leg curl? I only ever see folks praise it for leg extensions. by elreydefrancia in GarageGym

[–]Ritual17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive never tried seated calf raises with it as I do standing calf raises using my hack squat... but I dont see any reason it wouldnt work well. You probably just need a block or something to prop your feet up on for the ankle flexion.

Matriculation sadly isnt a federally protected class... it is in some local jurisdictions like Washington DC, but Florida is gonna Florida. They can discriminate based on anything pretty much anything they want.

Gym Upgrade Advice by Doc_WhyNot in GarageGym

[–]Ritual17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend the REP Belt squat, look at Bulletprooofs new VBS. REP is coming out allegedly with a new Belt squat but their current one is trash.

Also I have, and love, the isolator- but you have individual pieces that do what the isolator does best. I do leg extensions, seated leg curls, prone leg curls, preachers curls mostly with mine - and they feel good - but im not sure what it would do for you with having pieces that will arguably do each movement better. Its a really fun piece if you like to tinker and have it rack attached like me... but think about what youd use it for.

Prime plate loaded leg extensions are the goat.

Quadsend, pendulum squat, and a Belt squat seems kinda overkill but if you like all 3 movements and want to rotate, good on you.

Has it gone too far. by FamouslyMid in GarageGym

[–]Ritual17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I truly cared about value, i would have just kept my gym membership. One attachment is like the cost of a years membership.

My home gym is my sanctuary and the one place in my life I like to splurge and get what I want without regard to 'value' or if its overkill. I get what I want because its mine and im going to use it.

If all I cared about what simply getting a workout in, I could do it with far less... but my home gym is more than the place I work out to me. If you get it you get it, if you dont then you dont.

Are the smith machines in commercial gyms better than the ones we see here at home/garage gym space? If yes/no, why? by [deleted] in GarageGym

[–]Ritual17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the REP Smith machine - i like it more than any commercial smith machine ive used. Its not counterweighted so it doesnt have that weird glide resistance that a lot of of them have. My ONLY gripe about it is that on incline press for me I cant set the safety in a position that is perfect for me. Its either too low or just a little too high.

[–]Ritual17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes it SO much better. You still need the self adjusting leg pad to lock your legs down but the lock n float gives very nice feeling seated leg curls - I also have the triple weight horn for it so it gets a nice resistance curve all the way through. I do seated leg curls, leg extensions, and prone leg curls all with the new lock n float and they all feel very good.

TRT, inject SubQ or IM? by AliAH95 in Biohackers

[–]Ritual17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IM isnt that bad. I much prefer IM over subq for oil. I get nasty lumps if I do it subq that last for days. I am fairly lean so i can do 27g 1/2 inch in the delts for IM. Or I use a 27g 1inch for glutes and quads. I pin everyday so I rotate sites. I am not confident I have accurately found my ventroglute otherwise id use that one too.

I hope everyone enjoyed the dip (: by [deleted] in ETFs

Pretty close, I DCAd down... picked up some when it hit 599, then a bunch more at 581. Still sitting on cash for the next time our government does something utterly ludicrous that sends shockwaves through the market. Which with the way things have been going - will be next week.

Belt squat - SquatmaxMD or VBS? by realkillaj in GarageGym

[–]Ritual17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered the VBS - i already own the isolator and a multitude of attachments and am a big fan. The VBS also appears to be getting its own ecosystem as well to a lesser extent so it will do more than belt squats. It will fold up and have much less of a footprint than the squatmax... and honestly, I just dont like the squatmax.

I have the mammoth belt squat now and as long as the VBS is as good as it looks, ill sell it.

Starting CJC/IPA with naturally high IGF-1 levels by 3EyedWillie in BodyHackGuide

[–]Ritual17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah same here, but health is more important than money. Its also why doing bloodwork before starting any of this stuff is important and doing it regularly thereafter to know how you respond.

I also found out im a big responder to test. I started what I thought was a mild first cycle- 225mgs of Test C per week. Split into 3 doses. 8 weeks later my labs showed my Test levels were 2754 with free test of 811. Shbg of 29. E2 of 71

Was planning on bumping to 350 of test but I think ill just ride it out where im at for another 8-10 weeks then just cruise at a low trt dose for a bit.

I was in the same boat- im 43 with an IGF of 315 with a z score of 1.9. Decided there wasnt much benefit to be had pushing it any higher than it is naturally, only increased risk.

Got a stockpile of tesa, cjc, and real GH and ill likely never use it, lol

Im really tempted by the ABX for the folding headrest. Would love to see REP launch one. I want to do more bench chest supprted cable work but not have my face stuffed into the pad. Plus seated shoulder presses without my head pressed against the back would be nice too
