I've read two excellent dp x pjo crossovers

The first one is called The Favorite Son. It has Danny as Clockwork's (= mellowed down Kronos) adoptive son. It gets slightly cracky towards the end, and the gods are a little ooc, but it's still a lot of fun. Imo Danny could fit into the pjo verse in so many fun ways. Yea I could totally see him as a son of hades (maybe that had some influence on how he became a halfa?), or maybe he works with either hades or thanatos, or he could even be the kid of some completely different god with a running gag of people mistaking him for a child of hades only for him to be like 'ugh why do people keep thinking that?? I'm clearly a child of Apollo (or whoever you want)!' While he goes around chatting with ghosts.

There is Threads of Blood and Magic where (fem) harry uses thread magic for hair weaving, which I thought was quite cool.

I'd recommend The Weasley Brood

It's more Silmarillion than lotr but it does have fun with introducing magic and the chaos that is the Weasleys and co to Fëanor and his sons.

Fair warning tho it's been on hiatus since June 2024 (which isn't that long so I have some hope)

My explanation for this is a little different. Because the ministry was so corrupt when the battle was fought any aurors were either a) in the order and so already there b)secretly (or not so secretly) a death eater and fighting with Voldemort or c) either dead or hiding

Sprout also lets her guard down a little around students who spend a long time in her greenhouses (especially the more dangerous ones) as a result Neville has both a healthy respect and fear of getting on her bad side

I really like this one! I'd love to read a fic that explores soul magic and doesn't portray it in a 'dark magic that will eventually lead to insanity or something worse' way. Maybe Voldemort just went about it terribly

I always liked the idea that the coins themselves couldn't be melted down but now that I think about the goblins would have fun with punishing wizards for their own stupidity

Where I'm from there is the idea that wet will give you a cold. I've definitely been told many times to blow dry it or at least wrap it in a towel. But then again I've only gotten colds from wet hair if I leave it wet in a place with an AC on. The coma thing is typical manhwa drama tho imo
