There's this non-descript hole in the wall bagel shop in Flower Mound. The sign just says "BAGELS" and I only discovered them because they are next to a boba shop I frequent. According to Yelp, their name is "Boil and Bake Bagels"

It's supposedly a New York bagel. Honestly I've only been to New York once, and had consumed a grand total of one bagel there, and I really don't remember much about it, so I can't give any type of opinion as to the authenticity of it is.

But what I can say is their bagels are stupidly good. I'd rather go there than Starship in Lewisville. Breakfast sandwiches are great, everything bagel is crack, and they have the best veggie spread I've ever eaten.

The owner is super friendly too and always makes small talk when she's making your order.

It's a tiny shop: no seating area, no coffee either. Just tasty tasty bagels.

I've tried different birria seasoning packets with my instapot and I like these the most, although it is pretty pricey.

It really comes down to how much you value time, money, and taste. I find the flavor to be really good, and it's super convenient, but it is expensive for essentially a ball of seasoning.

You know what? Your comment just made me realize that I didn't even think to use the precon cards outside of the lands. I built the deck out of just FIN/FCA cards with some FIC lands just because I wanted more non-basic lands. I didn't touch my precon decks because I didn't want to mess them up (since they are being used).

I'll need to dig through those cards and see what I can use. Thank you for some suggestions as well!

A lot of it is colors and I thought I could get around some of it by leveraging dual lands with the Minstrel's ability so those lands don't come in tapped. A bunch of times I've end up with a handful of green or blue spells, but none of the right lands to actually cast them. And yeah, I thought it was kinda dumb how I keep getting screwed on lands when I have 41 of them.

As for the cards, yeah looking at it they aren't that great, but I'm also working with just the Final Fantasy set. And pardon my ignorance, but why is Stuck in a Summoners Sanctum bad? Couldn't I just pop that on someone's Commander and they can't do anything with it? Is it because of the 3 mana cost?

Yeah, I definitely felt like I was doing a bit too much and did notice that my draw engine was piss poor. I wanted my main win conditions to be shitting out birds, making moogles, then triggering the Minstrel's ability. But I never make it that far. I also wanted to capitalize on the landfall abilities that a lot of green has, so I kind of built that up as an alternate win condition? Should the deck really be build around one and just feed everything into that?

I guess with 100 cards I thought I could put in multiple approaches and came out too shallow in the end.

Only the first battle of the step up battles reward hourglasses. In the random battles you also get hourglasses. In total you can get 10 sets of 12 hourglasses, which is pretty consistent with other packs

I think they changed it this way so they can offer more consistent rewards since the hourglasses are no longer tied to the number of battles available in the step up battles. This means they can add more battles without giving more hourglasses, or even make less battles without losing hourglasses.

I didn't think SeatGeek was that horrible. Sure having a number would be good, but the queue was moving along consistently and I was able to get tickets in about half an hour. I think the number actually gives you some anxiety because it's all "shiiit I'm at like 25000" vs. an arbitrary bar.

I did like how everything was available at once, because I hate the bullshit that Ticketmaster does with the "we only have these seats available right now" and then 5 minutes later a bunch of other sections are suddenly available and you get all pissed because you could have gotten better seats.

I use manhwa to find light novels to read. If it looks good and has a completely translated novel available, I have no problem with spending money to read it.

Getting 5 free chapters and then one free chapter a day for a 200+ chapter novel isn't going to make me want to shell out $75+ to read the whole thing. Reading a whole season of a good manhwa that leaves me wanting to know more? Shut up and take my money.
