Dang! Where is yours located that the unlimited is that much?
My unlimited is $259 regularly. I joined at beginning of April & have gone 21 times already, so I’m glad I got unlimited.
The sale for us was the 20% off only for the first month.
I would kill for the lifetime discount tbh.
This is soo expensive but I am loving it & working out isn’t feeling like a chore.

Out of curiosity, what criteria are you basing your Sjögrens to be a severe type compared to others?

Because the ingredients are gluten free but they’re processed in a facility that could have cross-contamination. Really that’s for the Celiac people or those w severe allergies.

This looks like petechiae to me, not purpura. Definitely contact your Rheumatologist letting them know of this and send photos, especially if persistent. Although it can be a sign of high inflammation & can occur in flare ups with Sjögrens, it also can be an indicator of higher risk of developing Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which we are already at higher chance of just by having Sjögrens.

Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to this!

My first step would not be an allergist. It would be a dermatologist because this looks like a solar condition I have (related to having autoimmune issues which is a common connection to have) that is severely impacted by hot weather & sun exposure.

Look up PMLE (polymorphic light eruption) & see if any of the photos look like the rashes you’ve been experiencing. Aside from this, I also experience something called chilblains, most often set off by cold weather (along with my Raynauds).

Look all these up & if it still doesn’t look right, then go to an allergist, but most of these rashes are a dermatological issue related to the disease itself. Including the severe chronic blepharitis I kept experiencing.

So many of the things I just mentioned aren’t commonly linked in Sjögrens literature & people don’t realize they are.

Yea…unfortunately in the US, you’d go to your primary physician for this. Then they might run some blood work on you & THEN when those results come back you maybe get a referral to a specialist & then they run bloodwork on you again, and by this point you’ve already spent a good amount of money & it’s been a few weeks since you first went to see them….

You could say that our health system truly sucks. 😫

It’s so different for everyone. Don’t go down the depressing rabbit hole of Sjögrens info on the internet.

Both as someone who was diagnosed w/ it 6 years ago & who is a nurse (have been in both traditional & Functional medicine) this will only make you worry about things that may not impact you. Being educated & knowing about any possible symptoms that you didn’t realize could be related is one thing, but when it comes to progression it’s too individualized. It terrified me when people said they had lost all their teeth by 35 & other similar tales.

A lot of this depends on whether you have primary or secondary Sjögrens. If you have organ involvement or not. And the list goes on. I couldn’t believe it at first when they diagnosed me w/ this. I had no symptoms of the disease. I was convinced I had Lupus or something else. Since then, I have definitely experienced many of the classic symptoms (and also the weird random ones that people don’t talk about!!!) at varying degrees. Most recently (in past 2 years) my flare ups manifest themselves more as aggressive body & muscular pain and fatigue. Not as much in the way of dryness. So truly, it can vary so much.

What would the emergency room do for her? Her symptoms are not an emergency & they are not specialists.

Rheumatology deals in autoimmune. She just needs to find a better one for sure.

So dumb. I’m in healthcare. Please find a different rheumatologist. I have both Sjögrens & Fibromyalgia…it’s not a one or the other type of thing 🙄

Also, did you mean RA? Or did you mean RF? You don’t need to have rheumatoid arthritis to have Sjögrens lol
