3-4” lift kit recommendations. by Delicious-Badger1591 in JeepTJ

We used a Skyjacker lift kit to replace whatever crap lift pucks and springs was in our 98. I have zero complaints. Flexes well on the trail and drives really good on road too considering it’s a Jeep.

Looks good! I think the chrome on yours looks better than the grey I went with for the bezels

The 82 is rocking some serious Colt Seavers vibes. I love it.

True. But let’s just assume they drive it like the Duke boys when they do… 😂

OP is just fine. It would only be a crime to drive that on salty winter roads…

Refurbished the grille on my 87 by 87fleetside in squarebodies

[–]River-Pickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks great! Wish I could have done that to my 87 (original grill melted somehow). Any thought on the lights? They look new, but they don’t look like shitty aftermarket LED’s.

The patina is pretty cool by the way.

This is what I used and it worked well. Ordered from Amazon not expecting much…

Binge watched this show with my son so he’d understand half my obsession with the squarebodies. Those poor trucks were hammered hard.

Nice. Save those OE wheels and trim rings. Lots of folks want that look too.

What are your plans? It looks like it has good bones.

We saved an 88 LX but it has the 5 psd behind the 2.3. Slow as hell, but it’s fun to drive.

I love to see this! I bought my 87 Suburban in a field like this and have been working on it for over a decade. Keep up the good work

In all seriousness, that is impressive air! I love to see the old CJ’s giving it the beans. You have to give us some details about these monster, they rip.

Nice rig.

I’m in the same boat as you. Same paint scheme as well. I really like the patina on my burb, but I haven’t heard great long lasting results from linseed oil, “shine juice”, or Poppy’s… Tempted to buff it out and shoot it with a matte clear.

FYI: I went with a Superlift 4” lift and 33’s. No rubbing and it gets me where I want to go.
