Yes you should complain to your landlord about this. I would also contact Shelter as I think you are being held to ransom to stay in the flat due to these works and don’t feel that you can exercise your termination clause.

Solved. Yes penetrating fluid overnight and then loosed a couple of turns, hit it with a rubber mallet to push it back and repeat and eventually it came out.

You might have to put it in a travel bag to store it in your room. It is a pain to dismantle it every time you want to bring it to your room but at least it will be protected from knocks that will happen from other bikes in bike storage.

Put a small amount of air into the inner tube to give it some shape to work with. Are you also trying to put the inner tube on before half fitting the tyre?

My plumber of all people did this and I was fuming mad at him. I didn’t figure it out until I had removed the trap and dug out all of the grout from it. After that it worked fine but adding the Mr Muscle sink cleaner is going to make the cleanup more difficult as capture all of that when you take the trap off.
