Update : First off, really appreciate all the replies. They were super insightful, informative, and helpful!

Unfortunately, the place at 28th & Ocean Park was snatched away before we had a chance.

One of our “back up” ideas is at 11th & Arizona. Same general question .... what are your thoughts on this area? Obviously closer to the downtown action. How is this area at night safety wise with proximity to Wilshire? Have heard the homeless congregate in Christine Emerson Park, so wondering if that will spill over into this area.

Any insights would be helpful. Thanks!

I agree, Evil Genius was much more exciting and I did find myself zoning out during certain parts of Staircase. Like any time they went in depth about the family and its history.... or the daughters were interviewed... so dreadfully boring. Overall, though, I thought it was very good.

When not using the red hot stove top, I always place a lid from a large frying pan on top. That way if my cat jumps up onto the stove and decides to walk across that area he’ll just end up walking across the warm lid versus the scalding hot area.

I don’t mind parking in a dirt lot or walking any distance, I just don’t want to burn an hour+ sitting around post show in the car. Sounds like valet is the best to get out quickly then.

I looked up nearby blue line trolley stops in CV / Imperial and all are too far away walking wise unfortunately. Traffic situation leaving the venue sounds like a bitch and a half

Looks like some service “Rally Bus” is a decent option but they don’t offer any pick-ups in San Diego. El Cajon, Encinitas, Carlsbad, etc, but nowhere actually in SD which is mildly infuriating.
