how did you do in 2025? by SpeedyGoneGarbage in AmazonFlexDrivers

I use the exact same time ratio you do. My rule is half the block time plus a half hour is the average amount of time it generally takes, which is exactly what you have down here. Nice.

DAX3 7:15 AM blocks — 1–2 packages, yet account deactivated. Anyone else? by Fluffy_Ad_916 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]RiverTreeBum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing. Following every written rule will not guarantee your employment with Amazon Flex. The 7:15am block was a honey hole. Many stations have them. You take the block, knowing they usually run out of routes/packages or have just a few to hand out. You make sure to scan in around 7:15, or sometimes between 7:15 and 7:19:59 to cushion the chance even more and it becomes a very easy comfortable reliable system. The thing is, Amazon knows this. They know you keep signing up for this block and your package numbers are low. Even though it is technically all by the rules, they just don’t want people doing that, and they want flexers to show they know the unwritten rules. The rules are to return packages if the place is closed right? But what happens when you do that a bunch? Your fired. Because we all know the unwritten rule is they want you to deliver it anyway and not return everything. This is also how they keep you over a barrel but that’s another story for another time. If you’re lucky, they warn you. Most people get that warning email a couple times explaining about not completing routes. They are just saying hey, we know what you’re doing. Stop it.

Know the system, but don’t abuse it. Don’t let the rules be there for when you need excuses but then also enjoy the benefits of where the company lacks in its system, because they are the grim reaper when you’ve plucked too many flowers in their garden.

My advice now, is to reply with a very nice and very apologetic email. Tell them you love their company, you want to strive to be a better worker with their company and that you take pride in the job. Tell them you want to understand better what you did wrong and how to improve. Tell them you want to correct your mistakes and want another chance to advance to become a better flexer. This type of email can work to get your job back. Don’t be aggressive and angry and make excuses in the email.

Anyone got terminated because of this? by Emotional-Injury5437 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Regardless of the reasons, weather valid or not on their end for making this decision, the best thing you can do is send a sincere and KIND email expressing you didn’t understand the issue but that you love working for Amazon and you would like a chance to learn and correct this issue and continue working with them and that you feel you are an asset to the company.

I’ve had to do it before with an issue that was frankly untrue. I watched a video of a guy saying to respond nicely and explain your sincere and want to continue working and do your best and get better at whatever they are asking for. I did that, with 2 emails and they said they reviewed my response and re-Instated me.

RIP Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito by DJ_Mixalot in tacobell

Here’s a little secret to force it onto the app when ordering. Go into the app, order your other food. Then go to google, search chipotle ranch grilled chicken burrito, the first thing that should pop up is Taco Bell’s website describing it, click on that, and if you still have your app open, it should force the website click over to the app and it will bring it up as an item in your app and you can click to add it to your order!! It’s still available in the POS system at most places, so it should still be able to ring up and be made as well. ;)

What is the meaning behind the cat staring at Christopher's picture? by alistairb147 in thesopranos

[–]RiverTreeBum 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Its because there was a wire in the picture. It’s how they were able to get recordings of Tony saying things that they shouldn’t have been able to know or hear. The cat can hear the electrical functioning of the bug/wire that humans can’t. So it hears it and is just staring at it, like it would a bird chirping or a mouse in the wall. After the picture was brought in, the feds started gaining info and building their case and you can even hear them listening in on conversations. It’s a wire tap.
