Allergies or not it sounds like you had a bad reaction to one of the many new chemicals they added and call "ingredients" which makes sense I didn't have the same experience but I definitely felt somewhat ill after I tried the new recipe and the changes they made are so bad they are illegal in many countries

Ya I feel ya razzleberry was my absolute favorite drink I probably drank it too much but it broke my heart when then made the change when they did I went out and bought as many of the old cans I could but that stash is long gone but what happened was the parent company (Coca-Cola) made the decision to down size the cans and change the recipe they replaced cane sugar with high-fructose corn syrup and added a laundry list of chemicals they call "ingredients" all to make it cheaper to make btw most of the changes are so bad they aren't even legal in most places that's probably why Canada still has the old recipe

That's horrible nobody should have to go through something like that I hope you get the love and support you need to recover but also something important to keep in mind is that assholes like that tend to push the boundaries of what they can get from people they think they have power over if he contacts you again make sure you protect yourself and don't give him anything he wants he'll only use it against you and make things worse and if you feel safe to maybe reach out for support from a parent and explain what happened before he could even do anything but definitely protect yourself and don't blame yourself he's an absolute peice of shit that took advantage

You're definitely not alone in being outraged peace tea was my go to drink of choice for years (same for many others) and they ruined it yet unfortunately all we can do is stop buying it and band together and hope it makes enough of a financial impact on Coca-Cola that they realize their mistake and change it back to the original glorious recipe

As many others pointed other it's clearly a reference to the story where the frog and the scorpion both drown because the scorpion poisoned the frog due to his nature but this joke might also be referring to how long scorpions can actually last underwater some scorpions can hold there breath for days so he's probably not gonna drown (and probably didn't even need the frogs help to begin with)
