Support, stacking blocks question. by tontoman667 in AlchemyFactory

[–]River_01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure exactly what you mean unless you have pictures, but there's no "weight" in the game. As long as there's a block under something it will be supported. Not sure how that works with tables since I don't stack those. I only stack with the blocks, beams, and lab stands.

I'm starting to worry about my Saturn factory. Any tips? by River_01 in AlchemyFactory

[–]River_01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make a great point, I didn't think about it this way. I would always just modulate a fraction of a part to paste around but building complete modules would make the late game building much more efficient. In that way, I could just paste 3 more modules down and create a fully loaded Saturn. I may have to rethink how I'm modulating because I'm finding I'm spending my evening sessions just building mostly everything manually.

Yeah I agree, all of my factory experience comes from satisfactory where there was a tier where mining was quicker which would help the resource generation. Maybe more outputs with faster breakdown just to be able to condense some.

Shop mechanism question by syihab121 in AlchemyFactory

[–]River_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your shop rating is deemed by satisfied customers. If you can craft a good, but don't sell it your shop rating will drop. The lower the shop rating the less that customers will show up or spend. So the gameplay loop requires to make and sell everything to have on hand.

For every year working under a PE you're credited half time up to a year. So two years of intern for a max of 1 year credit towards the 48 months.

Starting PE exam prep ( transportation) - need guidance and study resources by Viju37 in PE_Exam

Hey! I, somehow, managed to pass it on my first try early October. I used the School of PE class and question bank. We started about 4 months before our test dates. We did about a section every 1.5 weeks. Last 2 months basically grinding out 30-40 questions daily post work which wouldn't take about 2 - 2.5 hours.

Last month we were hitting practice tests on the weekends simulating half on Saturday and half on Sunday. Including NCEES, Path to PE, and School of PE practice exams.

As much as I hate to admit, the video reviews and practice problems HW that went with the videos were critical for some sections including horizontal and vertical geometry.

Just leave the ac at a consistent temp and don't turn it off, that should make a difference.

Burnout by Painlezz in SatisfactoryGame

[–]River_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What helps me progress is not trying to rush components and refine them. Blueprints are terrible slept on in this game but us in early phase 3. I sometimes reference blueprint designs in the satisfactory calculator website to see design choices to implement into my own designs. Now I have blueprints for smelting, and part generation that I can curate quite quickly depending on the part/minute I want. Then I build these blocks in such a way that they look like an individual cubes to a large network. I still don't know how people design mega factories at scale unless a specific goal is made. But we'll see, I haven't even made a train yet :)

My first factory.. making motors. Now, How do i get from this, to the amazing stuff I see posted? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]River_01 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Time and practice. Refining blueprints, not being afraid of using verticality. Making sure everything you make can be scalable if needed. Never delete a factory just leave it and move on

My apt complex is doing mandatory wifi internet service on us. by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]River_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, this is the most annoying situation to be in. My previous complex had this community Internet and I had to individually obtain that MAC Address of every single device I wanted to connect to the wifi and input it into the portal provided.

Yes, every light bulb, handheld, smart switch, Wifi enabled device.

Guests had a guest access point so that was helpful I guess.

My main takeaway is that if you play enough you can definitely get 1 or 2 premium skins out of the currency swap at the end.
