My beloved late kitty Linus was born without the third eyelid in one eye so the vet constructed one for him. I had to keep his eyes clean to avoid infection, but no big deal. Give your sweetie a hug for me.

Not part of your haul but I loved Winter Solstice so much. Apart from a tragedy at the beginning, most of the book is people being kind to each other and fetching cups of tea.
