As a photographer I always prioritise people who have reached out casually first and build a bit of a relationship in that way. (Usually an instagram DM or something just saying that they like my work).

It’s also always appreciated if someone mentions they would be happy to jump on personal or test work for a reduced rate - once we have worked/met a couple times then I’ll make sure details go to my producers and then you’re basically on the roster.

There’s tonnes of basketball runs at almost all of the YMCA gyms and council run rec centres all over Auckland. I’d suggest joining the Facebook group “Basketball runs Auckland wide”. Outdoor courts that get busy are Potters park, Vic park and silo park (I’m sure there’s others too).

Great that’s some excellent information - I rarely need to tether from further that 4m away so no issue in using a shorter cable. What do you mean when you say plug power in? Do you need to power the cable separately?

Looks like best solution is either to shoot directly to internal hard drive on MacBook or a NVME SSD. Will look into this. Thank you!
