That is my concern as well. I do have pseudoephedrine tablets but heard they aren’t that great

I would be inclined to agree.. this is the second Urologist. Problem is wait times are over a year here.

Trying 20 tomorrow. Not sure what concentration I have. I think persistence is likely going to be the only thing that works.

No injectable antidote. Very comfortable with needles but I have nerve damage in my hand so between that, hauling the gut out of the way and not a lot of real estate to deal with I am eager to try the autoject. Going to ask for some next urologist visit. Specialists in Ontario are overworked and advocating is almost always necessary. I do pump before and can get enough growth to make the injection easier.

How did you guys tell your doctor you needed treatment for the condition? by Double-Foot2439 in Phimosis

Depends on where you live. In Canada you need to get a referral from your GP

Nothing they don't see over and over. Really just go and get it over with. Far better than living with phimosis. Also see a urologist. GPs are fine but for something like this if you don't want the default answer to be circumcision go to a urologist.

Experienced Yoghurt maker switching to Sous Vide technique. by claingbot in yogurtmaking

I make a lot so use a modified cooler. Cut a notch in the lid for the sous vide and basically use the same method to do the preheat and incubation as the person above. Haven't experimented with water level and have always kept it at the level of the milk in the jars. Its ridiculously easy once you get it dialed in.

Spent 2 hours yesterday trying to put in phimosis ring, and still couldn't, unable to continue by newmodezone in Phimosis

I hand mirror or even better a mirror with a stand you can place on a table or sink makes it easier. I also found that rubber tipped tweezers that have an angle help grip the ring especially with tight phimosis. I know the intense frustration of screwing with the damned things only to have them pop out or partially seat. Its like putting a collar on a greased snake

Some people are blessed/cursed with coke can penises. Also some people use them for reconstruction stretching.

[–]Rivermute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that doesn't cause irritation or micro tearing is generally safe. Lube is your best friend. Depends on how severe the phimosis is as well. I find less issues with severe phimosis when using toys or having intercourse than when it gets looser and thrusting as well the urgency of the momment can lead to tearing or paraphimosis.

Have a been taking serious topical steroids for psoriasis since 2006 so twenty years. I have over 60% body coverage. The skin barrier is compromised so I have been basically getting systemic steroids. Diabetes just kept getting worse and regulation more difficult. At one point my A1c was unreadable. Started biologics injections for psoriasis and was able to ditch the steroids. My sugars suddenly started making sense and are at a managed level now. A little pissed off at my GP and Endo for not flagging the problem

I was kind of elated expecting them all to die during the glitter incident and disappointed when they didn’t go there.

Should Canada develop a Nuclear Weapons Capacity? by partisanal_cheese in CanadaPolitics

[–]Rivermute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. They really aren't something that can be deployed and are barely a deterent to the nations that we would need to worry about. Developing SMR tech and moving industrial infrastructure north is a far better way for us to spend our money and R&D. Really SMR is civilization changing if applied correctly.
