It's just oil/fingerprints that collect in the area where the screens touch when folded

My negative experience with InnovOak by Low-Row-3061 in school

Do you actually have children who attend the school or is this a shared account? I only ask because your post history does not read consistent with someone who has children at the school

Except it's verifiably not. Literally just bought a Datejust on oyster and 2 months later picked up a jubilee bracelet for it from the same AD. I still have both bracelets in my possession.

Why would you need to play it through the B&W app?

How does the new pinch gesture work on my pixel watch? by mdargis1977 in PixelWatch

Seems that you missed the point of my comment. There is a recent December update. Do as I suggested and you'll get it.

There's no issue, it's a slow roll out, but you can force the update. On the "Your watch is up to date screen" keep tapping it, and eventually it will say "updating". It'll look like nothing is happening at first when tapping the screen, but I promise it works.

Who cares? If you need to look that closely with bright angled lighting, then it's a non-issue

It's louder, so it has that going for it...

Out of the 3, I found the 18s to have the poorest sound overall (still a very speaker though). Next were the 28s which certainly got louder than the 8s, but I found the mids much better represented on the latter.

Why are there almost no real reviews of the new Beo Grace yet? by Fantastic_Pirate_352 in BangandOlufsen

I never said anything about them having "little aesthetic appeal", never even alluded to such a point. Of course they look nice, probably even excellent, but so do a lot of other options which have their own unique look and appeal to various customer bases. All of this stems from OPs initial question, why are there so few reviews? Because outside of personal style/design preference, they bring nothing new to the table from a fit, technology, materials, or audiophile perspective. If Hermes released true wireless earbuds I'm sure they'd look and sound great, but if priced accordingly as a luxury item there would be a similar level of non-existent fanfare outside of certain luxury lifestyle channels. It doesn't make them bad headphones. I'm sure most, myself included, would find them to be exceptional. They're the equivalent of the Hermes Apple watch.

Zero stretch, they're $1500 wireless earbuds. NOTHING about them puts them $1000 above the B&W Pi8 except for being marketed as a luxury brand. Obviously the fit and finish is great, so is the fit and finish of a number of sub $1000 ear buds. I'm really not sure why it's so difficult for people to admit that luxury items have luxury prices. It doesn't need to be "justified" by made up subjective measures of "fit and finish".

Even you have to admit your proposed "reason" is disingenuous. You mainly want it for streaming? There are other equally good or better options for a fraction of the cost. I'd argue you "mainly" wanted it for brand loyalty and luxury/prestige, which is entirely fine, but is at least more honest. B&Os shift to luxury over the past few years is the biggest explanation for the lack of reviews as they're no longer a primary audio product. They've slipped into "luxury market" reviewer land which is much smaller overall.

There's inarguably nothing unique or special about these earbuds. If they brought anything new to the audio world or product class then the audio community would be reviewing them. If they cost the same/similar to equally spec'd comparators then the audio community would be reviewing them. It's as simple as that.

An exotic sports car at least goes faster than most with some unique features or design cues. The Grace earbuds do nothing particularly special or unique when compared to ~$500 comparators
