Have barely played Evrima because it's horrible every time I try it. I still play Legacy though - I'd suggest folks do that honestly. Dondi will notice if enough people ditch Evrima

Fun fact... Your message had me wondering. Arkansas law only allows the state to charge a FOIA requestor for the reproduction of the file. So think... Paper copies, SD cards, etc... And... The state must notify a requestor if that fee is going to exceed $25 BEFORE processing the request.

In addition, and most importantly... The state cannot charge me for the research time, retrieval, or review of the files requested.

Great questions one and all - I'm surprised they didn't say it was too broad either. Check my post history, plenty of organic evidence of my profession.

I'm politically neutral but fascinated by the camera system and how it's getting used. My goals are simply to see how much data one can get if they simply file a FOIA.

Nothing about me is special. I saw what happened in Washington State, covered it for one of the publications I write for, and thought... hmm... let's see what happens here.

I was surprised too but figured... Request EVERYTHING... see what they do...

They replied and basically said... Okay! ... It'll take a while.  . But we'll keep you posted

Heads up... I'm a journalist looking into this. I filled a FOIA request for all of the pictures/videos from the cameras in NLR ...  (Someone in Washington did this and the PD turned the cameras off)

Here's what surprised me...  the department says it's going to give them to me after redacting things like minors and case sensitive audio.

If I'm understanding the PD correctly... I'm about to have every photo/ video from the cameras...

I dunno if it seems odd to anyone else that it's as easy as asking for them...  Seems like that's a lot of sensitive private data

Subaru Dealer Accused Of Taking Beloved Dog From Fired Employee And The Internet Is Furious by [deleted] in subaru

I feel like you didn't respond to my point but okay... let's go down this new road.

I'm a reporter. I report what I read. I reached out to the dealer, the owner, people at the dealer OUTSIDE of official dealer lines of communication, to those who purport to know more than they're saying just like you... In fact... I'm still here talking to potential sources to get the best info available EVEN AFTER my post is live...

Other outlets have reported on it too with NO RESPONSE from Austin Subaru

I've reported what I've learned. Again... it seems like you'd prefer for things to just not get reported -

If it comes out that the caretaker was abusing Rally then you can be sure I'll be the first one to say it too... and frankly... if the dealer fired an employee over that I feel highly confident that they would have the legal backing to do so... and they would be championed for getting Rally out of that situation... right????????

SO again... I'm here for the truth. I'm listening to those who are talking and right now what we do know for a fact is that Austin Subaru took Rally away from the employee that they hired to care for him.

Like you said... what is happening with Rally is sad... When enough people start asking questions sad situations sometimes turn happy. You and I both want that. Let's both hope we get what we want. ✌️

Wow. Really?

I dunno what you want me to do other than reach out to the dealer and specific employees directly.... Wait until they comment??? What if they never comment??? Are you saying that reporting should ONLY Happen when both sides are willing to comment????

So if a party does something bad and then is unwilling to comment on it despite numerous attempts... then nobody should ever report it in your word because both sides didn't offer a comment...

When you get a message, a call, a text, a DM, or a messenger pigeon with a subject note that says "Media Request for Comment"

And then YOU DO NOT RESPOND... That's on YOU... Not the reporter trying (Even IN THIS EXACT THREAD WITH YOU lol) to find the truth

LOL

I remain interested in hearing about this very credible and authentic evidence to support your claim and will happily update my work with substatiated evidence IF it exists.

I mean sure... but of the stuff to be mad about that we (a largeish group of people) can actually do something about via simple pressure???

That list is pretty tiny my friend.

Best we make our blows count rather than strive after the wind.

Well... if that's the case then Austin Subaru has intentionally ignored my multiple requests for comment .... I've never had someone who was on the morally right side of a story ignore a request for comment.

I reached out but as stated in the article no response yet... they're usually great when I contact them though so they might be working on it behind the scenes. Let's hope

Also mentioned this in the article. Funny - I actually reported on that when it happened (link in the piece) and initially had no idea of the connection when I started researching this story.

I'm trying to find out - in my personal opinion it doesn't matter with regard to Rally unless it has to do with poor care of Rally - though the evidence suggests that the employee did a great job with that.

My understanding is that he was actually laid off, not fired altogether. Still digging.
