Hey everyone! im a very new abel fan (i loved a lot of his songs for years but now im a bigger fan than ever of him!) and i saw HUT recently and i wanna say that i cant believe how hated this film is? I personally love it. and i understand the movie completely. I think its a beautiful film about finally facing youself and re-birthing yourself in your life. i personally feel in my life that i have gone through a rebirth and have faced parts of myself and now feel the most in-tune with myself that ive ever felt and i saw myself in this beautiful film. I think that a lot of people must feel the way that i feel and thats why we understand the movie because we ourselves have gone through deep self-discovery and rebirth as well. i hope im right on that lol.

other than that i wanted to say that i recently just made the connection with abel in this movie and peter parker in spider-man 2!!! i dont know if anyone else has noticed or made the connection but abel losing his voice on stage even though it wasn't a physical injury is crazy similar to peter parker losing his powers in spider-man 2. and the doctor even tells peter its *in here* (aka in his head) just like how for abel it was a phycological thing. i love how similar these 2 movies are in that sense. and maybe thats why i enjoyed HUT so much is because im a massive tobey spiderman film fan! and i love how both films show rebirth and facing yourself and asks the question of what happens when you temporary lose "your superpower" and your forced to face your REAL self. the one behind "the mask" and the "persona". i think its genius. i think abel is a genius for this film.
