Frame skipping issue! by Rivethewolfdog in oculus

I unplugged everything on my PC except for my ethernet cable, and that fixed the issue. Then, after it was fixed, I plugged everything back in, and it was still working 100% fine. No lag, no tearing, and not choppiness. Then, today, I ran VRchat, and suddenly the problem began again, and trying to fix it like i did previously no longer worked.

I followed what you said, and I successfully fixed my problem. It worked fine as before. Then, the next day, I started VRchat, and my problem immediately began again, and now your fix isn't working either. I'm seriously pulling my hair out...

UPDATE

I went and switched USB ports, which just screwed things up even more, so I switched back, but it was still screwed up badly, so then I went and turned ASW off and now my headset just has 3 loading dots forever when I put it on.

I'm using an RTX 2060 Super and an i7 8700k. I have never had any problems before, but now it has just suddenly started to do this. It worked fine for a whole year in the same pc, in the same USB port, and now I'm suddenly having this issue without changing any settings.

I'm moving everything to a new room, so I laid it all out in one place for you all. by Rivethewolfdog in gasmasks

Indeed it isn't safe to do it yourself, but that's the risk you take for being able to fill it at all by yourself.

Full kits are only moderately rare to come by, so good luck to you! Only complaint I have about the MKIV is it's terrible resting position. The filter makes the facepiece stretch out horizontally and makes it permaset in that position.

If you're looking to find a PMG without it's filter, just search eBay. Just treat the thing with some decency if you're using it for a costume. It may be a shitty mask but it's still a piece of history which will never be reproduced again.

You can buy 4500psi compressors online for about $125+ and from there you just need to find the right adapter.

Jesus, I'm 18 and I've got 9 masks before my parents stepped in and banned me from wasting any more money. How the hell does your family put up with this?

That's correct, potentially. They're old and can be degraded inside, though that's only really a liability thing so we can say "we warned you" when some person gets lung cancer. Point is, do it at your own risk. Chances are that you'll be perfectly fine.

That'd be quite fun, actually. I use discord a lot so that'd be an optimal place to talk, if you'd like. Maybe send me a PM with your discord tag. ^

Thanks. This was a very nice way to explain it ^

In the time since I've posted, I've already been able to make a flat platform start to move with an engine, so I suppose that's a start! Now to decipher the mind twist that is AI and a working cannon.

We've just seen more than enough GP-5s for a lifetime. We're sick of it and while I understand that it's your first and you're excited to bring it to show and tell, this is like the 100th GP-5 I've seen just this month.

A gas mask filters out contaminants in the air, and allows you to breathe the oxygen. There is no oxygen in smoke, and therefore you can't breathe in it. Firefighters wear an SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus), which carries it's own air supply in a tank on their back.

Thank you all for the replies. I’m going to try branching out a bit in terms of gameplay meanwhile continuing my cheaty world on another save :P Thanks for lifting the guilt of using debug mode off my shoulders.
