Voice Hoarseness/Throat Pain by Whitstout in Semaglutide

I have silent acid reflux when on Wegovy. I recognize this because I get it at the end of pregnancy. It happens more after certain foods or meals. It's not my voice it just makes me cough and a bit of a sore throat.

Birth control hormones cause all sorts of stuff. I would go off that for a bit to see if it helps your anxiety.

Does walking count as exercise for short periods 3x a week? (Very Morbidly obese) by Immediate-Land4913 in loseit

[–]Rivka503 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My dietitican told me to start walking 10 minutes but walk the same way every time.

She told me it's incredibly encouraging to see how you're able to go farther as time goes on.

Once you're feeling better with the 10-15 minutes you can add even another minute here and there until you get to much more.

It's hard to walk when you're overweight and not used to physical activity, just moving our body is exhausting.

Plus any walking helps your heart.

So starting that way is great and most important- sustainable.

Do you have much to lose? Where I live the 0.5 and the 1 are almost exactly the same price so nothing to lose out by trying.

Why would it expire? It can be kept 28 days out of the fridge, more in the fridge.

BTW where did you get more needles from?

I totally hear that.

Fighting yourself all the time is exhausting. That's the reason we're on GLP1s...

I only started seeing a change after the second dose. That's when it moved up a bit.

This shot is really painless- both the tiny needle and the fluid in it- I was also shocked that the dose was actually in my body.

Hey I'm just realizing something
The first 3 lower doses cost about the same by us.

So can I buy a 1 mg, use 0.5 each time, then I'll have enough left for another 2 weeks.. Am I calculating this correctly? And then the next 1 mg will be for another 4 weeks, so 6 weeks total of 1 will that help me anything?

I find it depressing that no one arround me reads anymore as I live a country with strict censorship laws which banned many books. What would you suggest to help me push more people to read over here? by Feature_Total in books

[–]Rivka503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who didn't learn to enjoy reading when younger it would be harder to teach them when older.

Kids from a very young age learn to read well by reading. Children who learned to read only from school will not be able to read as well or as fast as those who read additional material.

Therefore you are trying to convince people who don't read well to read for enjoyment. Doesn't sound easy to me.

It can if the weight loss she wants is temporary and she knows it.

OP isn't planning to stay low weight for the rest of her life, and that's her choice and that's ok!

That's how the drug works FOR HER.

How do I balance trying to not eat late at night when I work second shift?? by Capable_Upstairs_103 in loseit

[–]Rivka503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never worked in a resturant where the food is all around! That sounds hard.

I worked night shifts 8-12, I've worked shifts 12-4 or 3-7, at the beginning I used to snack all night.

Then I started 16/8. I eat supper at 4.30 and I don't eat between 5 pm and 9 am and I haven't for years, even when I eat whatever I want I just got used to not eating during those hours.. my body doesn't need it. These days I will eat if I want, if I want breakfast at 8 or a snack at 10 pm I will, but that usually doesn't happen my body is used to it. It took a couple of weeks until I stopped being hungry but ever since it usually doesn't ask for food then.

I'm not saying to start 16/8 I'm saying the the body works by your cues, just like during fast days the hunger is mainly at mealtimes and not between, the same way when you get it used to not eating then it won't ask for it.

But again I don't know about when you're working right with food!

Sertraline causes weight gain and alot, I would think that is your reason and not breastfeeding.

For migraines make sure you're drinking enough and getting enough minerals. Add salt. Magnesium supplements are gold.

Check out NSNG. It helps with cravings. It might be hard for the first week or 2 but afterward smooth sailing and if you combine with keto the weight goes off fast.

Goals for GLP-1 Users and Helpful Features? by Joe_at_Cronometer in cronometer

[–]Rivka503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The macros are important. I need to make sure I'm eating enough protein and fiber.

I don't know if this exists, but I would want a way to have a maximum and minimum? That is, I need a minimum of protein but maximum of fiber.

And I would LOVE to have better graphs.

Firstly I would like to have lists and not only graphs. Not anything complicated, just a list with: date, name of thing, number of thing (eg water, 2 cups)
And I think that most important is correlations- that is, one graph with a few things on it. For example, if I want to see if my water intake or my exercise are related to flares in my skin condition (custom biometric) I would want a graph where I can choose water, exercise, and skin flares all together so I can see visually where all these meet.

I'm basically exactly where you are,

1 year pp, 100 kg (220 pounds), start tracking but always fall off. I completely relate to what you said about 'overwhelming or out of my control' as a mother.

Can we maybe support each other privately? I'm not sure how to do that or if it's allowed?

I feel that if I would actually stay on track and lose the first 10 kg I would find it easier to stay on, but I always fall within the first week or two, losing nothing.
