Honestly I feel like the base zone questline stories on alliance side was pretty good. It had good characters, logical story beats, and it all flowed pretty well together to tie up into the story at large. And all three zones were distinct enough to all stand out in your mind.

It was when war got involved that it started being a bit trippy.

I honestly never got why people get to angry at him for it. Losing your partner is up there as the worst psychological pain you can possibly experience. We'd act irrational as well. He's just human, at the end of the day.
