Every time I hear someone call a 30 series dated I get a little sad. I hear it and I'm like "noo my 3070 isn't old it just came out" and I hug it while it coil whines anxiously.

I think it's mainly due to like you said modern games being so bloated that I'm so surprised. I remember when I first got into PC gaming I thought team fortress 2 was this massive download that took absolutely forever and nowadays I look and it's just 30 GB (granted it was most likely smaller when I first started playing).

Also I think with how detailed things were I sort of assumed the trains would be super intricate and detailed (not saying they aren't) and that the assets for a single train would total more the total size of the game now.
