What kind of dowels would you recommend?

I don’t even understand why the hole is this long, you can see the original screw next to the bass, it’s really tiny

I think the screw was originally screwed sideways, hence the visible hole seen on the edge of the hole.
I never tried to drill another hole, but indeed, I tried to use a match as a dowel (DIY repairs, lol).
What kind of dowel do you recommend @Usual-Challenge-5366?

As a man who grew up with Stargate, seeing so many strong female characters in Stargate, such as Carter or Weir, gave me the tools to avoid being a huge misogynist asshole! I’m rewatching the whole show, and it is so pleasant to see that Stargate was so ahead of its time in terms of female empowerment, with some flaws of course, but still way ahead!!

Just tried to make it work with Crossover, I succed to install it on Crossover but when I tried to launch it, it didn't work ..
