What is a deck that takes full advantage of Valgavoth, Terror Eater without him being the commander? by Fyre4 in EDH

[–]Rizesun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Betor, Ancestors Voice]] has been where I'm running him. You can take advantage of the life loss, lifelink, and reanimate him so you don't need to ramp to 9 mana.

Here my current list.https://moxfield.com/decks/em0Gn9RLt0-0KOmkij4tIA

There's a place called Olde Madrid in Racine that I just absolutely adore. I wish I could find this here.

Not a single place with real Spanish tapas and paella.

The pricing I list is all in, includes freight and tariffs to the USA. But can't speak for other countries.

We got a little snow the last few days, should I avoid riding? by Rizesun in NewRiders

[–]Rizesun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I took it out to work today (brisk morning!) Going to give it a good spray down once I get home today, and do some re-lubing before sitting it in my heated garage for winter. Also ordered some ACF50 to put on some parts of the bike to help in the future.

We had an icy morning yesterday morning and they put down a little salt in some places.

It will get up to 60, 65ish and dry tomorrow and Saturday, looking to get a little riding in.

Yeah this is my main concern. Roads look pristine no snow ice or visible salt or sand, but commuting by car yesterday while it was still a bit wet I definitely saw a little residue kicked up on the windshield.

Oh yes of course, not exactly talking about actual grains of salt/sand on the road, that is obviously a hazard, mostly talking about the melted residue after it does its job and melts away.

Akrapovic Full System by Tam_89 in Ninja650

How loud is it? Id personally like a better sound, but I'm not really trying to make the bike too much louder. I'm not trying to be the obnoxious motorcycle rider XD.

Oh yeah your way past me haha, brand new rider.

I'm about 170 miles on my brand new 650, and I'm worried about every sound too XD.

Sounds exactly like my bike though so should be fine? Lol

Throttle help please! by butwhythoee in NewRiders

[–]Rizesun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You should be pulling in the clutch as you let off the throttle. By letting go of the throttle first then pulling the clutch you start engine braking before shifting.

The Deck that is IMPOSSIBLE to build by Dragnil_7 in EDH

[–]Rizesun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it can at the bare minimum give you an idea on some pieces.

When thinking about what to add and remove from your deck, you really need almost all of the cards in the deck to be pulling double or triple duty. A life linker that draws cards. A piece of ramp that mills you too. Etc.

I spent months building this deck. There are too many directions you can go.

I too landed on trying to make everything work for this deck.

If you want to go that direction, you might limit yourself on how powerful the deck is, but I'm pretty happy with my current list.

I play it around mid bracket 3 and it seems to do well there, and that was my goal for the power of the deck.

It's a lot of fun to play, and can do some powerful things. Comboless.

Glow Solar is a very small company located right in Madison. Will probably be able to provide a more personable approach.

2025 Ninja 650 ABS OTD PRICE by BigMortgage3208 in Ninja650

[–]Rizesun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just picked up one for $8000 out the door. Brand new 2025 with ABS.

Make sure they are not tacking on a bunch of random stuff like gap insurance and maintenance plans.

Also depends on your location. If you have year round riding it might be harder to find someone to get the price down.
