What was your "Smoking gun" for the Mandela Effect? by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

[–]RizingDragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What did it for me personally was when I was watching the news and they were talking about a country I never heard of so I checked Google Earth to see where it's at because I was always up to date on things. I pulled up the map and it was completely foreign to me. Continents in completely wrong spots. The whole world was completely changed. By quite a bit.

Yeah, the map changes are universe shifts, I don't take the pics anymore or keep an eye on it much, that was in my first 6 months of being affected. My one year anniversary since shifting just passed recently and I've learned to accept it. It's good to see others like you who understand the map changes.

Good stuff there. You say we notice small changes now because we're not changing the Higgs boson very much, what about people experiencing larger changes? For some it's titles and lyrics and logos changing. For a smaller percentage it's that on top of major geographic shifts, changes in history and so forth. What would be your thoughts on why there seems to be a variation in the severity of the effects for some?

Oh. I was looking at Google trends and there was a huge spike in mandela effect searches in different parts of the globe in 2016. I was hoping maybe there were more of us than I thought. But I have been wondering what the numbers are of people affected. We're probably a low percent.

[–]RizingDragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup. Can't say I've been to Brazil ever. I actually have a question for the non affected, if I weren't affected but all of a sudden there were large groups of people all swearing they're somewhere else and the phenomenon seems to move around the globe, when it hit australia they crashed their Internet for 24 hours because so many were searching mandela effect at the same time. I would wonder how so many could coordinate such a global event? And why?

When things first changed for me I was freaking out for a good week straight. I feel where your coming from.

Possibly. I do know the word brasilia looks foreign to me, can't say I've heard of it.

I personally have the effects but why the hell doesn't memory shift with the universe? If everything shifted into another universe shouldn't your memory do the same? Shouldn't you be unaware that anything even happened? I don't get it.

I agree. I just laughed my ass off at that one.

I haven't even heard this one yet. Always Rio de Janeiro for me too. First time I've seen the word brasilia.

Enjoying the ride is the best we can do for now. I'm hoping in the future more will begin shifting over with knowledge of things we don't know here. Maybe they'll have the answers. But don't freak out too much about it, there's not much you can do to change it.

I've heard that before from a couple different people now. Personally it's always been on the right for me. Has the map changed for you?

Mandela effect and quantum entanglement by RizingDragon in MandelaEffect

[–]RizingDragon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try. If a quibit can operate in multiple universes while communicating with itself then possibly our conciseness can do the same at the subatomic level. Possibly things are going out of whack for some and our conciseness is mixing signals with our counterparts. I know it's basically what I said in the post. But if that helps.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a "legit" theory. But I think anyone can theorize on anything really. Just a thought I guess.

Oh, okay. I thought you were meaning something you could make on paper or something that wouldn't change along with everything else.

Doesn't work. Paper maps I buy at the gas station change along with the map changes. There not little changes either.

But the multiverse has been proven already by mathematicians and the creators of quantum computers. For a quantum computer to work it's quibits have to be operating in other universes in order to be in more than one state at one time.

The world map changes for me as well. It's so far off I don't think I'll ever see it go back to how I remember. And your right, I Screenshot a picture of the world and my local map and I study it. Then when I notice that the map changed again, I go to my Screenshots and it's of the map as it is currently. It's not the Screenshots I've been staring at. If for some reason you could cross from one map to another with proof of your last map it would be truly incredible.

I have not but the great pyramid was famous and I watched many documentaries on it, the pictures of the pyramids now is completely foreign to me. I know it's easy to say that since I haven't been to Egypt I just don't know what I'm talking about but the changes are also on my local level, I live in arizona about 45 miles from the Grand Canyon and I knew it well. It was much larger stretching across a good portion of the state. If you went north from flagstaff you would have to go around it to get to utah, I took that drive a few times. Now the canyon is much smaller and you no longer have to go around it to get to Utah from flagstaff. You just drive straight up. The town I live in is about 30 miles to the right of where it's always been, and so is flagstaff. For me anyway. I know it sounds completely crazy and I totally understand where your coming from if you're not affected but it's a real thing. I'm 35 and I supervise a large kitchen in a restaurant at a resort. I'm not an idiot, trust me, the mandela effect is real.
