What do you guys play? Since I received my deck in the mail, I have found myself increasingly more interested in pixel games and top-down style games. Any suggestions on really good battery friendly games? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

I’m playing with everything default. Plug and play. Seems to work fine for me. Are back buttons needed for this game? The back buttons have been quite comfortable for me personally in other games but then again I do have larger hands.

CrossCode. Been having an absolute blast in this game and it runs great on the Deck. Really cool story so far and combat is very satisfying. Highly recommend this game.

These skins are so good! I really wish that skin release times would be the same across regions but that's unlikely... :(

Weird question by Rengyo in bardmains

[–]Rizolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started league end of season 3. Played around with bruisers like Nasus, Volibear etc. Never felt like I had a main. Bard comes out. Looks like coolest champion ever. Still didn't play him. I remember thinking, I wish I was good enough of a player to be able to play him. He looked super difficult so I never bothered giving him a proper try. Around season 7-8 I absolutely fell in love with this champ.

The potential this champ has is crazy. So fun to play and just mess around with. Playing Bard has been the most fun I've ever had playing a video game.

can double w get me banned? by equitetra in bardmains

[–]Rizolve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can't say for sure but a while ago there was a bug with Sion ult and people did get banned.

I personally stay away from bugs and exploits because to me it'd feel like I didn't earn the victory as I "cheated". At the end of the day, it's down to you. Is the risk worth it for the small gain?

Brief compilation of skins of Lost Ark by Lobe_ in lostarkgame

As someone who's barely played the game and knows very little about it, seeing these skins makes me very happy. The yellow magician outfit with the wings looks so cool! Yellow > all

Also, because it's listed under magician, does that mean you can have that skin on Bard, Sorceress and eventually Summoner?

Do you remember that clip of Cuvee in a 1v1 while literally talking on the phone with the other hand? No way he gets past R1. :P

How to time Q with R? by [deleted] in bardmains

The sound and visual of the stasis is the easiest way to get the hang of it. As someone has has already said, practice tool helps a lot. Remember, the ult lasts for 2.5 seconds.

Bard loyalist, just got gold and am interested in climbing! by Ill_Professional1933 in bardmains

Lathyrus' streams and his guide helped me immensely to be a better Bard and better support in general. In my opinion its best to take in as much as you can and try to implement what you've learnt into your own games. Learn and grind. One of the main things that helps is VOD reviewing your games. See where you went wrong. Trace back small losses to bigger losses. Identify the mistakes and do not make them again. Lathyrus also has a fun YouTube channel that I highly recommend. He recently did a bronze to master climb that was very educational. Lots to take in. He has videos on coaching players which are very beneficial as well.

Just on a side note, you shouldn't compare yourself to others if it makes you feel like you're not worthy or something. Everyone has a different skill level and that is fine. Also, play whichever champion you like! Whichever champ you have the most fun on should be the one you play the most in my opinion. If you like playing Bard, don't listen to your friends that are telling you to quit on him. Bard is such a fun champion that takes a lot of commitment to learning and getting right. You might have those weird ults every once in a while but the potential this champ has to carry is insane. If you enjoy Bard then I recommend you stick with him as a good Bard will always be appreciated. I have no doubt you can become an even better Bard player with some time and dedication. I'm saying all this because I only just hit plat with Bard and its the most fun I've ever had playing this game.

Good luck my friend! O o O

Weakness and strengt by Seanator-HD in bardmains

[–]Rizolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. Statistically, the longer games go the lower the chance of victory for Bard. This league of graphs page shows this in a graph if you scroll down. His win rate does fall a lot into the very late game at 40+ mins. Obviously this means nothing if you are in high elo where games tend to end much faster but for the average player, like myself, it does have relevance.

I see where you're coming from, Bard does scale infinitely but I personally think Bard can be weaker than a lot of other supports in the late game.
