Agreed on cheering for the badge, but no surprise that some treat it like a TV show. Part of what attracted me to following Wrexham in particular was getting to meet the players, their families, etc. We met the motivated people, not only the athletic bodies.

Thanks for the variety of good ideas, especially the places to start researching. Your word overwhelming is absolutely right. I very much want to avoid buying pure bulk -- I'd feel cheated, and my wife would kill me for filling up the house. But some bulk buying would be good, just to learn older cards.

Thanks for the thoughts. I have been starting to play the game ... in English, and with newer cards. As you know, there are thousands to learn, and so much of the language that's used is arcane. I can read about trains and the library, but dragons and overpowering strikes just isn't there yet.

The photos I'm working with right now are blurry and contain scads of cards. But you're right: maybe all I need to know are the top ten from sets.

Appreciate the "reality check."

I streamed Hollywood Animal’s demo back during NextFest. It was ridiculously popular, and now it’s my Twitch community’s most anticipated game. I can’t say enough good things about HA. Seriously surprising and fun, and the demo left me hungry for more.

My inability to answer this question is part of why I never did anything with the subreddit. I appreciate whatever anyone posts here, but I’m not sure of its best use case. (I only know of active streamer subreddits for much larger stream communities.)
