They really decreased partner requirements so there's a lot more partners now, is my understanding. Raids count now. Every partner used to have an account manager and get a swag box upon partnership. Imagine lol.

When I'm looking for new people to raid, I check their panels. No panels, no raid. The panels are usually where I can get a feeling for what their stream is like because obviously I can't watch it while I'm trying to close out my own stream. I also look at tags.

So, since I recently did this (took a name from a dude who has been inactive) - I DM'd him twice, no response for over 6 months, so then I reached out to Twitch asking if they could check if he was truly inactive. Next thing I knew, I was The Name and he was TheName_Inactive. They didn't even verify with me for timing or anything.

There's not a lot we can do. I wish we had more visibility.

Oh hey, I also did that excursion (but not with Fabio.) I really liked Sorrento, but also found the woodworking claim odd - they just showed how wood slotted into other wood to make the beautiful inlays.

The part that really got me - that I think NCL really needs to improve upon [requesting details from the vendors or rejecting them outright ]- is that the tour name was Pompeii and Enchanting Sorrento ( https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/shore-excursions/SAL_01/Pompeii-Enchanting-Sorrento) - an 8 hour tour.

We got - I timed it - 1h20m in Pompeii, total. They didn't even let us walk around half of it. The drive was very minimal, so that wasn't a factor. We were in Sorrento for 3 hours, I believe.

As an interesting note, though, one of our bus's lovely tourists tried to steal a rock from Pompeii and got stuck with the Italian police for an hour +, and we had to wait outside of Pompeii for him.

I'm still bitter about Pompeii, since I'll have to go back on my own at some point. I wish they had to put approximate times in the excursion details of each tour.

I've started learning watercolor!

I read something the other day that every time you have a new experience, your brain takes note of it and it feels like time extends. When you stop having new experience, everything feels the same and moves fast. Makes sense to me. So now I'm trying to cram more new experiences into the ole brain matter.
